Information on Service 'NSNS DR0.2: Visual continuum'

[Use this service from your browser]

Further access options are discussed below

The Northern Sky Narrowband Survey maps the entire northern hemisphere down to a declination of -16° at an angular resolution of about 10 arcsec. Star-subtracted visible continuum as a combination of the red, green, and blue color channel in Rayleighs per nm. H-alpha was subtracted, but the data still contains some emission from SII, OIII and H-beta. See http://www.simg.de/nebulae3/dr0_2 for other HIPS.
