Information on Service 'Web access to Robotic Bochum Twin Telescope (RoBoTT) images'

[Use this service from your browser]

Further access options are discussed below

The Robotic Bochum Twin Telescope (RoBoTT) operated from December 2008 to September 2019 at the Universitaetssternwarte Bochum near Cerro Armazones in the Chilean Atacama desert. It consists of two refractor telescopes (15 cm aperture, 2°42'' × 2°42'' FoV CCDs) attached to the same mount. The fields were observed in Johnson UVBRI, Sloan ugriz, and the narrowband OIII, NB, Halpha, and SII filters. The first batch contains fields that were observed in Johnson U and Sloan z; further RoBoTT fields will be added at a later date. Bochum Galactic Disk Survey (BGDS) images, which were also taken with the RoBoTT, are available separately from ivo://org.gavo.dc/bgds/q/sia.

Overview

You can access this service using:

This resource is not (directly) published. This can mean that it was deemed too unimportant, for internal use only, or is just a helper for a published service. Equally likely, however, it is under development, abandoned in development or otherwise unfinished. Exercise some caution.

Other services provided on the underlying data include:

Input Fields

The following fields are available to provide input to the service (with some renderers, some of these fields may be unavailable):

Default Output Fields

The following fields are contained in the output by default. More fields may be available for selection; these would be given below in the VOTable output fields.

VOTable Output Fields

The following fields are available in VOTable output. The verbosity level is a number intended to represent the relative importance of the field on a scale of 1 to 30. The services take a VERB argument. A field is included in the output if their verbosity level is less or equal VERB*10.

Note calib

The calib_level flag takes the following values:

0 Raw Instrumental data requiring instrument-specific tools
1 Instrumental data processable with standard tools
2 Calibrated, science-ready data without instrument signature
3 Enhanced data products (e.g., mosaics)
