Abstract

The catalog contains references to all measurements of stellar magnetic fields published in the literature between 1958 and 1981. The catalog provides for each object identifications, position, magnitude, period, extrema of the magnetic field measured, number of measurements, method used, spectral type, bibliographic references, and notes. Introduction: Users should be aware of possible differences between results obtained with different techniques, so that the measurements given here should not be used without detailed examination to derive, for instance secular variations.
