The instrumentation used is the Virginia Tech Spectral Line Imaging Camera (SLIC), specially designed for obtaining sensitive, arcminute-resolution, 10-degree wide images of the 6563 H-alpha recombination line of hydrogen, and the [SII]6717,6731 angstrom doublet emission of singly ionized sulfur. This survey cover the northern hemisphere (declinations greater than -15 degrees).Original acknowledgement for data: http://www1.phys.vt.edu/~halpha/ack.html</description><source format="bibcode">1998PASA...15..147D</source><referenceURL>https://alasky.cds.unistra.fr/VTSS/Ha</referenceURL><type>Survey</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsDerivedFrom</relationshipType><relatedResource>Virginia Tech Physics</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights rightsURI="https://cds.unistra.fr/aladin-org/licences_aladin.html">This HiPS is distributed under ODbL license by Unistra/CNRS</rights><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/hips#hips-1.0"><interface role="std" xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://alasky.cds.unistra.fr/VTSS/Ha</accessURL><mirrorURL>https://alaskybis.cds.unistra.fr/VTSS/Ha</mirrorURL><mirrorURL>http://skies.esac.esa.int/VTSSHa</mirrorURL></interface></capability><coverage><spectral>2.951189804113696e-19 3.0267345073120964e-19</spectral><footprint ivo-id="ivo://mocivod">https://alasky.cds.unistra.fr/VTSS/Ha/Moc.fits</footprint><waveband>Optical</waveband></coverage></ri:Resource>
