EGRET detected gamma rays in the energy range from 30 MeV to over 30 GeV, with an energy resolution of 20-25% over most of that range. The instrument is described in Hughes et al. (1980), Kanbach (1988, 1989), Thompson et. al (1993) and Esposito et al. (1998). The work described here started with standard EGRET all-sky maps (ftp://cossc.gsfc.nasa.gov/compton/data/egret/high_level/combined_data) of photon counts, instrument exposure, and gamma-ray intensity, binned in 0.5 degree pixels, in both Galactic and equatorial coordinates. The energy ranges in MeV are: (narrow ranges) 30-50, 50-70, 70-100, 100-150, 150-300, 300-500, 500-1000, 1000-2000, 2000-4000, 4000-10000; (broader ranges) 30-100, 100-300, 300-1000; (integral ranges) &gt;100, &gt;300, &gt;1000.Original acknowledgement for data: This research has made use of data, software and/or web tools obtained from the High Energy Astrophysics Science Archive Research Center (HEASARC), a service of the Astrophysics Science Division at NASA/GSFC and of the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory's High Energy Astrophysics Division</description><source format="bibcode">2005ApJ...621..291C</source><referenceURL>https://alasky.cds.unistra.fr/EGRET/EGRET-dif/EGRET_dif_2000-4000</referenceURL><type>Survey</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsDerivedFrom</relationshipType><relatedResource>NASA/HEASARC</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights rightsURI="https://cds.unistra.fr/aladin-org/licences_aladin.html">This HiPS is distributed under ODbL license by Unistra/CNRS</rights><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/hips#hips-1.0"><interface role="std" xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://alasky.cds.unistra.fr/EGRET/EGRET-dif/EGRET_dif_2000-4000</accessURL><mirrorURL>https://alaskybis.cds.unistra.fr/EGRET/EGRET-dif/EGRET_dif_2000-4000</mirrorURL></interface></capability><coverage><temporal>48361 48943</temporal><spectral>3.2043583964849147e-10 6.408716792969829e-10</spectral><footprint ivo-id="ivo://mocivod">https://alasky.cds.unistra.fr/EGRET/EGRET-dif/EGRET_dif_2000-4000/Moc.fits</footprint><waveband>Gamma-ray</waveband></coverage></ri:Resource>
