Aimed at identifying objects with supersolar metallicity, we conducted observations at the Observatorio Astrofisico Guillermo Haro and derived the basic stellar atmospheric parameters, namely the effective temperature, surface gravity, and global metallicity, based on a set of absorption spectroscopic indices in the wavelength region 3800-4800{AA}. The newly derived set of parameters is in good agreement with previous determinations collected from sources in the literature. Considering the full sample of our investigation (379 stars), we also compared the effective temperatures of stars in common (354 objects) with Gaia DR2 for which temperatures are available, and found that, on average, our values are about 100K higher. We show that most of the largest temperature discrepancies can plausibly be ascribed to interstellar extinction effects on Gaia's photometry. Finally, within the working sample we found four more stars that present supermetallicity, one of which was previously reported in the literature.</description><source format="bibcode">2020MNRAS.493.5807C</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/MNRAS/493/5807</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/444/2251">J/MNRAS/444/2251 : G0-G3 main-sequence stars with V&lt;15 (Lopez-Valdivia+, 2014)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/493/5807</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/493/5807</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/493/5807</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/493/5807</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/493/5807</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/493/5807</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/MNRAS/493/5807/table1 (The the observed solar analogues)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/493/5807/table1?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/493/5807/table1?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/493/5807/table1?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>66.1306972</ra><dec>30.4342575</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/1079 1175 1453 1455 4297 4416 4790 4871 5147 5219 5225-5228 5230 5240 5259 5263 5267 5281 5312 5317 5321 5489 5826 5833-5834 6485 6494 6512 6612 7168-7169 7171-7172 7204 7529 7781 7982 8225 8406 9664 10278 10316 10352 10381 10383 10401-10403 10405-10407 10409 10417 10440 10451 10461 10465 10626 10628 10648 10757 10935 10945 11211 11810 11969 14391 14432 14435 14441 14443 14528-14529 22941 22943 22986 23020 23675 23760 23763 23773 24334 24336 24338 24345-24348 24369-24370 24373 24376 24410 24412 25925-25926 25938-25939 25942 25944 25980 26972 27826 27925 27968 28069 28127 28144 28155 28158-28159 28195 28198 28204 28362 28376 28393 28453 28457 28581 28592 30516 30518 30522 30807 31285-31286 31428 31790 32572 45051</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/MNRAS/493/5807?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Optical</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/MNRAS/493/5807/table1</name><description>The the observed solar analogues</description><column><name>Simbad</name><description>Simbad column added by the CDS</description><ucd>meta.ref.url</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType" arraysize="*">char</dataType></column><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
