(2016ApJ...818...43B, Cat. J/ApJ/818/43) but working in the Fourier power spectrum. We calibrated the method using Kepler stars for which asteroseismology has been possible with short-cadence data, demonstrating a precision in log g of about 0.05dex. We also derived a correction for white noise as a function of Kepler magnitude by measuring white noise directly from observations. We then applied the method to the same sample of long-cadence stars as Bastien et al. We found that about half the stars are too faint for the granulation background to be reliably detected above the white noise. We provide a catalogue of log g values for about 15000 stars having uncertainties better than 0.5dex. We used Gaia DR2 parallaxes to validate that granulation is a powerful method to measure log g from light curves. Our method can also be applied to the large number of light curves collected by K2 and TESS.</description><source format="bibcode">2018MNRAS.480..467P</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/MNRAS/480/467</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/V/133">V/133 : Kepler Input Catalog (Kepler Mission Team, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/818/43">J/ApJ/818/43 : Stellar surface gravity measures of KIC stars (Bastien+, 2016)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/229/30">J/ApJS/229/30 : Revised stellar properties of Q1-17 Kepler targets</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/480/467</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/480/467</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/480/467</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/480/467</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/480/467</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/480/467</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/MNRAS/480/467/table1 (Estimates of granulation power, vmax and logg for 15109 stars using Kepler long-cadence data)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/480/467/table1?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/480/467/table1?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/480/467/table1?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>290.90305</ra><dec>36.7672689</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>4/922-923 933-935 944-946 5/3645-3647 3683 3704 3706 3729-3731 3760 3765 3788-3789 3792-3793 6/14559 14567 14573 14575 14577-14579 14730-14731 14738 14744 14746-14747 14749-14751 14792 14794-14795 14822 14828 14830-14831 14914-14915 15044-15045 15057 15059 15160-15161 15176 15178 15200 15232-15233</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/MNRAS/480/467?format=ascii</footprint></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/MNRAS/480/467/table1</name><description>Estimates of granulation power, vmax and logg for 15109 stars using Kepler long-cadence data</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
