We carried out a systematic search for the BLR-less AGNs through the Sloan Digital Sky Survey Legacy Survey (SDSS Stripe82 Database). Based on the spectral decomposition results for all the 136 676 spectroscopic objects (galaxies and quasars) with redshift less than 0.35 covered by the SDSS Stripe82 region, our spectroscopic sample for the BLR-less AGNs includes 22 693 pure narrow line objects without broad emission lines but with apparent AGN continuum emission R_AGN_&gt;0.3 and apparent stellar lights R_ssp_&gt;0.3. Then, using the properties of the photometry magnitude RMS (RMS) and Pearson's coefficients (R_1,2_) between two different SDSS band light curves: RMS_k_&gt;3xRMS_Mk_ and R_1,2_&gt;~0.8, the final 281 pure narrow line objects with true photometry variabilities are our selected reliable candidates for the BLR-less AGNs. The selected candidates with higher confidence levels not only have the expected spectral features of the BLR-less AGNs, but also show significant true photometry variabilities. The reported sample enlarges at least four times the current sample of the BLR-less AGNs, and will provide more reliable information to explain the lack of the BLRs of AGNs in our following studies.</description><source format="bibcode">2014MNRAS.438..557Z</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/MNRAS/438/557</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/525/A37">J/A+A/525/A37 : SDSS Stripe 82 QSOs variability indexes (Meusinger+, 2011)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/438/557</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/438/557</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/438/557</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/438/557</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/438/557</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/438/557</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/MNRAS/438/557/table1 (Basic parameters of the 281 candidates for the BLR-less AGNs)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/438/557/table1?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/438/557/table1?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/438/557/table1?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>6.91631</ra><dec>-0.61917</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>5/4501 4521 4698 5801 6/0 12289-12290 17406-17407 17661 17743 17746-17747 17749 17752 17756-17757 17763 17766-17769 17771-17772 17774 17777 17809-17811 17817-17820 17830 17833-17834 17998-17999 18002-18003 18011-18014 18020 18024-18025 18027-18030 18033 18061 18066-18067 18070 18072-18073 18075-18077 18083 18090 18092 18098 18112-18114 18176-18177 18686 18749-18751 18765 18774 18777-18778 18788 18790 18802 18842 18844 18851-18852 18854-18855 18857 18859-18861 18865-18866 18881 19005 19007 19023 19029 19031-19032 19034-19036 19038 19041 19045 19052-19053 19056 19058 19087 19090-19092 19094-19097 19099 19102 19107-19108 19110 19113 19118 19120-19121 19138 19200-19201 19457 23201-23203 23208-23209 23211-23212 30033 30035 30039-30040 30044 30046 36862 49151</spatial><spectral>2.85864675833786e-19 3.5010283109654867e-19</spectral><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/MNRAS/438/557?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Optical</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/MNRAS/438/557/table1</name><description>Basic parameters of the 281 candidates for the BLR-less AGNs</description><column><name>SimbadName</name><description>Simbad column added by the CDS</description><ucd>meta.id</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType" arraysize="24*">char</dataType></column><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
