We searched the sample within the WISE all sky survey data base for objects within 1 arcsec of the coordinates provided by the SIMBAD data base, and found over 9000 sources detected in all WISE bands. The sample excludes objects that are flagged as extended sources and those images that are affected by various optical artefacts. For each detected object, we compared the observed W4/W2 (22{mu}m/4.6{mu}m) flux ratio with the expected photospheric value and identified 197 excess candidates at 3{sigma}. For the vast majority of candidates, the results of this analysis represent the first reported evidence of an IR excess. Through the comparison with a simple blackbody emission model, we derive estimates of the dust temperature, as well as of the dust fractional luminosities. For more than 80 percent of the sample, this temperature is higher than 120K, suggesting the presence of warm circumstellar dust. Complementary observations at longer wavelengths (far-IR and submillimetre) are required for better characterizing and explaining the origin of this emission.</description><source format="bibcode">2014MNRAS.437..391C</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/MNRAS/437/391</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/II/311">II/311 : WISE All-Sky Data Release (Cutri+ 2012)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/II/328">II/328 : AllWISE Data Release (Cutri+ 2013)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/437/391</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/437/391</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/437/391</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/437/391</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/437/391</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/437/391</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/MNRAS/437/391/table1 (Subsample of stars with prominent mid-IR excesses)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/437/391/table1?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/437/391/table1?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/437/391/table1?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>7.6404894</ra><dec>-46.8709578</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/460 859 1048 1114 1397 1506 3101 3159 3598 4721 14252 14254 14435 15621 18476 20708 20763 20929 21080 21130 21505 22138 22264 22505 22829 22977 24273 24334 24350 24369-24370 24963 25127 25649 28675-28676 28681 28844 28920 29215 29235 29259 29292 29769 30388 30742 30759 33053 33077 33120 33226 33306 33370 33460 33801 34105 34547 34683 35182 35376 36322 36867 36947 37118 37266 37292 37316 37402 37790 37809 37816 37864 37890 37925 37977 38080 38146 38182 39078 39123 39154 39176 39195 39205 39222 39233 39313 39481 39542 39559 39622-39623 39690 39969 40267 41043 41135 41587 41677 41682 41725 41739 41827 41848 41880 41911 41916 41952 42132 42344 42369 42494 42559 42571 42573 42581 42611 42613 42620 42672-42673 42678 42707 42710 42714 42728 42731 42769 42779 42791 42811 42827 42852 42897 42906 42932 42979 42991 43016 43031 43052 43061 43094 43155 43251 43261 43275 43278 43281 43286 43294 43325 43358 43377 43568 43603 43651 43681 43683 44052 44054 44078 44119 44125 44142 44212 44218 44257 44282 44287 44300 44307 44318 44337 44353 44399 44435 44453 45360 47004 47603 47708 47831 48373 48383 48431 48566 48593 48619 48717 48805 48834 48836 48875 48924 49027</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/MNRAS/437/391?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Infrared</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/MNRAS/437/391/table1</name><description>Subsample of stars with prominent mid-IR excesses</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
