Based on the available photometric and spectroscopic data, we determined the relations between the atmospheric iron abundance, [Fe/H], and the Fourier parameters. Using these relations we calculated the photometric [Fe/H] values of all programme Cepheids with an average accuracy of +/-0.15dex. No spectroscopic iron abundance was known before for 14 of these stars. These empirical results provide an alternate method to determine the iron abundance of classical Cepheids too faint for spectroscopic observations. We also checked whether the metal-poor Cepheids of both Magellanic Clouds follow the same relationships, and a good agreement was found.</description><source format="bibcode">2013MNRAS.434.2418K</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/MNRAS/434/2418</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/504/959">J/A+A/504/959 : Amplitudes of single-mode Cepheids (Klagyivik+, 2009)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/434/2418</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/434/2418</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/434/2418</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/434/2418</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/434/2418</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/434/2418</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/MNRAS/434/2418/table2 (Fourier amplitude ratios of Galactic classical Cepheids)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/434/2418/table2?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/434/2418/table2?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/434/2418/table2?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>287.3166206</ra><dec>10.5524892</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/1348 1411 3005 3033 3050 3052 3054 3059 3252 3255 3261 3284 3309 3322 3362 3599-3600 3627 3629 3712-3714 3722 12987 13201 13931 13933 13990 14047 14238 14282-14283 14295 14301 14321 14323 14436 14445 14449 14453 14455 14601-14602 14637 15378 15392 15396 15429 15620 15633 21514 21648 21683 21686 22068-22069 22074 22124 22169 22219 22227 22267 23635 23670 23762 24450 24453 28808 28875 28893 28991 29089 29104 29166 29216 29468 29772 30211 30641 37330 37334 37340 37364 37713 37721 37729 37745 37828 37856 37897 37903 37928 37930-37931 38020 38026 39232 39348 39930 39935 40491 40494 40608 41385 41721 41737 41862 42156 42820 43013 43022 43028 43056 43060</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/MNRAS/434/2418?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Optical</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/MNRAS/434/2418/table2</name><description>Fourier amplitude ratios of Galactic classical Cepheids</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
