These quasars form part of a total sample of 118 (with 56 having been published previously), which is being used for analysis of structure in the early universe. Quasars of particular interest are noted, including eight broad absorption line (BAL) quasars and two quasars with unusual emission spectra. Finally, we include a short summary of the present status of the large quasar group (LQG) that was discovered by Clowes &amp; Campusano (1991, Cat. J/MNRAS/249/218 and 1994, Cat. J/MNRAS/266/317) from the earlier observations. The quasars are from an area ~25.3deg^2^ of ESO/SERC field 927, which is centred at (B1950) 10h 40m 00s, 05{deg} 00'00".</description><source format="bibcode">1999MNRAS.309...48C</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/MNRAS/309/48</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/249/218">J/MNRAS/249/218 : Group of quasars (Clowes+, 1991)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/266/317">J/MNRAS/266/317 : Quasars in ESO/SERC field 927 (Clowes+, 1994)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/309/48</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/309/48</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/309/48</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/309/48</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/309/48</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/309/48</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/MNRAS/309/48/table2 (Observations of the confirmed QSO candidates)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/309/48/table2?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/309/48/table2?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/309/48/table2?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>158.345833</ra><dec>6.541389</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>5/6852 6855 6/27066 27068 27070-27071 27114 27398-27399 27413-27417 27419 27441 27444-27445 27456 27458-27459 27464</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/MNRAS/309/48?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Optical</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/MNRAS/309/48/table2</name><description>Observations of the confirmed QSO candidates</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
