The candidates lie primarily in the southern Galactic hemisphere, and are distributed in color over the range B-V from -0.2 to 0.40. Previous spectroscopic observation of a subset of these candidates indicates that roughly 85 percent of the catalog objects are bona fide members of the field blue horizontal branch.
