Our best-fit M*-j* relation yields a slope of {alpha}=1.03+/-0.11 with a trivariate fit including {beta}. When ignoring the effect of {beta}, the exponent {alpha}=0.56+/-0.06 is consistent with {alpha}=2/3 that is predicted for dark matter halos. There is a linear {beta}-j*/M* relation for {beta}&lt;~0.4, exhibiting a general trend of increasing {beta} with decreasing j*/M*. Galaxies with {beta}&gt;~0.4 have higher j* than predicted by the relation. Pseudobulge galaxies have preferentially lower {beta} for a given j*/M* than galaxies that contain classical bulges. Pseudobulge galaxies follow a well- defined track in {beta}-j*/M* space, consistent with Obreschkow &amp; Glazebrook, while galaxies with classical bulges do not. These results are consistent with the hypothesis that while growth in either bulge type is linked to a decrease in j*/M*, the mechanisms that build pseudobulges seem to be less efficient at increasing bulge mass per decrease in specific angular momentum than those that build classical bulges.</description><source format="bibcode">2018ApJ...860...37S</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/ApJ/860/37</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/136/773">J/AJ/136/773 : Structure of classical bulges &amp; pseudobulges (Fisher+, 2008)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/136/2782">J/AJ/136/2782 : Star formation efficiency in nearby galaxies (Leroy+, 2008)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/136/2563">J/AJ/136/2563 : HI Nearby Galaxy Survey, THINGS (Walter+, 2008)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/716/942">J/ApJ/716/942 : Bulges of nearby galaxies with Spitzer (Fisher+, 2010)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/733/L47">J/ApJ/733/L47 : Galaxy bulge types within 11Mpc (Fisher+, 2011)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/754/67">J/ApJ/754/67 : Longslit spectroscopy of local bulges (Fabricius+, 2012)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/446/1567">J/MNRAS/446/1567 : SAMI Galaxy Survey: EDR (Allen+, 2015)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/594/A36">J/A+A/594/A36 : CALIFA Survey DR3 list of galaxies (Sanchez+, 2016)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/848/87">J/ApJ/848/87 : CALIFA SFRs.
