Of this set, 40 stars have never before been observed spectroscopically. The systemic velocity of the dwarf is 78.3+/-0.6km/s with a velocity dispersion of 7.4+/-0.4km/s. We identify one star beyond the tidal radius of Leo II but find no signatures of uniform rotation, kinematic asymmetries, or streams. The stars show a strong metallicity gradient of -1.53+/-0.10dex/kpc and have a mean metallicity of -1.70+/-0.02dex.</description><source format="bibcode">2017ApJ...836..202S</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/ApJ/836/202</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/360/185">J/MNRAS/360/185 : VI photometry of the Leo II galaxy (Bellazzini+, 2005)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/459/423">J/A+A/459/423 : VI and [Fe/H] of Fornax dSph RGB stars (Battaglia+, 2006)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/649/201">J/ApJ/649/201 : Veloc. &amp; Washington photom. in Carina dSph (Munoz+, 2006)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/131/2114">J/AJ/131/2114 : Radial velocities in Fornax dSph (Walker+, 2006)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/378/318">J/MNRAS/378/318 : Chemical abundances in Leo I and II dSph (Bosler+, 2007)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/133/270">J/AJ/133/270 : Metallicities and ages in Leo II dSph (Koch+, 2007)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/134/566">J/AJ/134/566 : Leo II stellar kinematics (Koch+, 2007)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/388/1185">J/MNRAS/388/1185 : JHKs photometry of LeoII dSph giants (Gullieuszik+, 2008)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/136/2050">J/AJ/136/2050 : SEGUE stellar parameter pipeline.
