About half of the emission comes from gas with kinematics indicating it is orbiting in a plane tipped about 25{deg} from the Galactic plane. This plane is consistent with that derived previously for the circumnuclear molecular disk and the northern arm and western arc ionized features. However, unlike most previous studies, we conclude that the ionized gas is not moving along the ionized features, but on more nearly circular paths. The observed speeds are close to, but probably somewhat less than expected for orbital motions in the potential of the central black hole and stars and have a small inward component. The spatial distribution of the emission is well fitted by a spiral pattern. We discuss possible physical explanations for the spatial distribution and kinematics of the ionized gas, and conclude that both may be best explained by a one-armed spiral density wave, which also accounts for both the observed low velocities and the inward velocity component. We suggest that a density wave may result from the precession of elliptical orbits in the potential of the black hole and stellar mass distribution.</description><source format="bibcode">2012ApJ...755...90I</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/ApJ/755/90</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/534/A117">J/A+A/534/A117 : NIR polarimetry of sources near SgrA* (Buchholz+, 2011)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/511/A18">J/A+A/511/A18 : NIR observations of stars near SgrA* (Schoedel+, 2010)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/737/73">J/ApJ/737/73 : Infrared extinction toward the Galactic Centre (Fritz+, 2011)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/699/186">J/ApJ/699/186 : VLA observations of the Galactic center (Zhao+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/703/1323">J/ApJ/703/1323 : Spectro. of stars in the Galaxy's nuclear cluster (Do+ 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/499/483">J/A+A/499/483 : NIR obs. of sources in galactic center (Buchholz+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/642/861">J/ApJ/642/861 : N-band imaging of the Galactic Center (Viehmann+, 2006)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/426/81">J/A+A/426/81 : Kinematic analysis of the Minispiral (Paumard+, 2004)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/755/90</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/755/90</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/755/90</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/755/90</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/755/90</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/755/90</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/ApJ/755/90/fits (List of the 3-D data cube parameters of Sgr A West (from erratum 2013, ApJ, 771, 75))</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/ApJ/755/90/fits?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/ApJ/755/90/fits?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/ApJ/755/90/fits?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>266.418</ra><dec>-29.009</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/28830</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/ApJ/755/90?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Infrared</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/ApJ/755/90/fits</name><description>List of the 3-D data cube parameters of Sgr A West (from erratum 2013, ApJ, 771, 75)</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
