We revise the atmospheric parameters of the trigonometric parallax sample of Bergeron, Leggett, &amp; Ruiz (2001, Cat. &lt;J/ApJS/133/413&gt;, 12 stars) and analyze 147 new DZ white dwarfs discovered in the SDSS.
