With the help of the new image-processing methods and the Gaia DR2 catalog, all CCD images of Triton taken with the 1.56m telescope of Shanghai Astronomical Observatory during 2005-2009 were reanalyzed. The median filtering algorithm is used for image preprocessing to remove the influence of the halo of Neptune, and an upgraded modified moment, called the intensity-square-weighted centroiding method, is applied to determine the centroids of the stars and Triton. A total of 2299 positions of Triton were obtained, including 263 new observed positions and 2036 updated observed positions. Such five-year time span data with high precision will be very helpful to improve the orbit parameters of Triton.</description><source format="bibcode">2021AJ....161..237Z</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/AJ/161/237</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+AS/120/107">J/A+AS/120/107 : 1989-1994 CCD observations of Triton (Veiga+ 1996)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+AS/131/291">J/A+AS/131/291 : 1995-1997 CCD positions of Triton (Veiga+ 1998)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/119/936">J/AJ/119/936 : Triton stellar occultation candidates (McDonald+, 2000)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/425/1107">J/A+A/425/1107 : Observations of Triton and Proteus (Vieira Martins+, 2004)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/376/1707">J/MNRAS/376/1707 : 1996-2006 observations of Triton (Qiao+, 2007)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/617/L5">J/A+A/617/L5 : Water delivery in Pluto &amp; Triton atmospheres (Poppe+, 2018)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/AJ/161/237</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/AJ/161/237</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/AJ/161/237</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/AJ/161/237</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/AJ/161/237</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/AJ/161/237</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/AJ/161/237/table2 (Observed positions of Triton)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/AJ/161/237/table2?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/AJ/161/237/table2?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/AJ/161/237/table2?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>317.898085556</ra><dec>-16.355581389</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/48574-48575 48603 48611 48613-48614 48616-48617 48912</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/AJ/161/237?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Optical</waveband><waveband>Infrared</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/AJ/161/237/table2</name><description>Observed positions of Triton</description><column><name>Site</name><description>[337] IAU observatory code (1)</description><ucd>meta.code;instr.obsty</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType">int</dataType></column><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
