The images cover 438arcmin^2^, which encompasses the entire complex, and were taken in the filters F110W, F139M, and F160W. We have estimated extinctions for individual sources in these data from their colors and have dereddened their photometry accordingly. By comparing an area of the images that contains the richest concentration of previously identified W3 members to an area that has few members and is dominated by background stars, we have estimated the luminosity function for members of W3 with masses of 0.03-0.4M{sun}. That luminosity function closely resembles data in typical nearby star-forming regions that have much smaller stellar populations than W3 ( ~500 versus several thousand objects). Thus, we do not find evidence of significant variations in the initial mass function of low-mass stars and brown dwarfs with star-forming conditions, which is consistent with recent studies of other distant massive star-forming regions.</description><source format="bibcode">2021AJ....161..138H</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/AJ/161/138</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/I/345">I/345 : Gaia DR2 (Gaia Collaboration, 2018)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/VII/233">VII/233 : The 2MASS Extended sources (IPAC/UMass, 2003-2006)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/VI/125">VI/125 : Theoretical spectra of red giants and supergiants (Lancon+, 2007)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/209/32">J/ApJS/209/32 : Probable young stars in the MYStIX project (Broos+, 2013)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/561/A12">J/A+A/561/A12 : W3 Main JHKs photometry (Bik+, 2014)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/813/42">J/ApJ/813/42 : O and B type stars in W3: first results (Kiminki+, 2015)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/153/46">J/AJ/153/46 : Spectroscopy of candidate members in Taurus (Luhman+, 2017)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/158/54">J/AJ/158/54 : New Taurus memb. from stellar to planetary masse (Esplin+,2019)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/881/79">J/ApJ/881/79 : Flamingos-2 near-infrared photometry in NGC 2244 (Muzic+, 2019)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/487/2771">J/MNRAS/487/2771 : Gaia-DR2 distance to the W3 Complex (Navarete+, 2019)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/AJ/161/138</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/AJ/161/138</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/AJ/161/138</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/AJ/161/138</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/AJ/161/138</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/AJ/161/138</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/AJ/161/138/table1 (Sources in WFC3 images of W3)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/AJ/161/138/table1?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/AJ/161/138/table1?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/AJ/161/138/table1?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>36.10636889</ra><dec>62.05007306</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/3649</spatial><spectral>1.0590977079788917e-19 1.3189343879298211e-18</spectral><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/AJ/161/138?format=ascii</footprint></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/AJ/161/138/table1</name><description>Sources in WFC3 images of W3</description><column><name>DEJ2000</name><description>[61.8/62.4] Declination (J2000)</description><unit>deg</unit><ucd>pos.eq.dec;meta.main</ucd><flag>indexed</flag></column><column><name>110mag</name><description>[16.75/25.52]?
