Nevertheless, it is found that these two galaxies ended up with globular cluster systems in which individual clusters have indistinguishable distributions of half-light radii. Furthermore, globulars in both M31 and the Galaxy are found to have radii that are independent of their luminosities. In this respect, globular clusters differ drastically from early-type galaxies in which half-light radius and luminosity are tightly correlated. Metal-rich globular clusters in M31 occupy a slightly larger volume than do those in the Galaxy. The specific globular cluster frequency in the Andromeda galaxy is found to be significantly higher than it is in the Milky Way system. The present discussion is based on the 107 Galactic globular clusters, and 200 putative globulars in M31, for which UBV photometry was available.</description><source format="bibcode">2010AJ....140.1043V</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/AJ/140/1043</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/114/1488">J/AJ/114/1488 : Globulars in M31 (Holland+ 1997)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/119/727">J/AJ/119/727 : M31 globular clusters photometry (Barmby+, 2000)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/122/2458">J/AJ/122/2458 : M31 globular clusters from HST (Barmby+, 2001)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/416/917">J/A+A/416/917 : M31 globular clusters Revised Bologna Catalog (Galleti+ 2004)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/449/143">J/A+A/449/143 : Photometry of M31 globular cluster candidates (Ma+, 2006)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/471/127">J/A+A/471/127 : New globular clusters in M31 (Galleti+, 2007)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/508/1285">J/A+A/508/1285 : M31 globular clusters metallicity estimates (Galleti+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/173/643">J/ApJS/173/643 : GALEX UV photometry of M31 Globular Clusters (Rey+, 2007)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/392/L55">J/MNRAS/392/L55 : Globular clusters in M31 from K-band phot.
