The main aim of this study is a comprehensive chemical analysis of red giant stars in the open cluster IC 4756, including determinations of ^12^C/^13^C and C/N abundance ratios, and comparisons of the results with theoretical models of stellar and Galactic chemical evolution. We used a classical differential model atmosphere method to analyse high-resolution spectra obtained with the FEROS spectrograph on the 2.2m MPG/ESO Telescope. The carbon, nitrogen, and oxygen abundances, ^12^C/^13^C ratios, and neutron-capture element abundances were determined using synthetic spectra, and the main atmospheric parameters and abundances of other chemical elements were determined from equivalent widths of spectral lines.</description><source format="bibcode">2018A&amp;A...615A.165B</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/A+A/615/A165</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/109/1903">J/AJ/109/1903 : Membership to cluster IC 4756 (Missana+ 1995)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/134/1216">J/AJ/134/1216 : Abundances of NGC 7142, 6939 and IC 4756 stars (Jacobson+ 2007)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/515/A28">J/A+A/515/A28 : Abundances of dwarfs and giants in 2 open clusters (Pace+ 2010)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/615/A165</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/615/A165</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/615/A165</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/615/A165</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/615/A165</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/615/A165</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/A+A/615/A165/table1 (A list of analysed stars and their parameters)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/615/A165/table1?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/615/A165/table1?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/615/A165/table1?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>278.9476</ra><dec>5.3381</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/30438-30439 30444-30445</spatial><spectral>3.322582951404819e-19 3.852589004194616e-19</spectral><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/A+A/615/A165?format=ascii</footprint></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/A+A/615/A165/table1</name><description>A list of analysed stars and their parameters</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
