At the ESO Very Large Telescope, it is possible to achieve about 1 milliarcsecond (mas) resolution and detect sources as faint as K~12mag. We have taken advantage of a passage of the Moon over two crowded and reddened regions in the direction of the inner part of the Galactic bulge to obtain a high number of occultation light curves over two half nights. Our goal was to detect and characterize new binary systems, and to investigate highly extincted and relatively unknown infrared sources in search of circumstellar shells and similar peculiarities. Our target list included a significant number of very late-type stars, but the majority of the sources was without spectral classification.</description><source format="bibcode">2011A&amp;A...532A.101R</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/A+A/532/A101</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/I/123">I/123 : Lunar Occultations of IRAS Point Sources: 1986-1990</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/I/142">I/142 : Lunar Occultations of IRAS Point Sources: 1991-2000</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/VI/132">VI/132 : Lunar Occultation Archive (Herald+ 2010)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+AS/80/215">J/A+AS/80/215 : Lunar occultations of weak radio sources (Akujor+, 1989)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+AS/110/107">J/A+AS/110/107 : Lunar occultations (Meyer+ 1995)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/112/2786">J/AJ/112/2786 : 1985-1995 lunar occultations at TIRGO (Richichi+ 1996)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/522/A65">J/A+A/522/A65 : Lunar occultations at the ESO VLT (Richichi+, 2010)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/532/A101</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/532/A101</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/532/A101</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/532/A101</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/532/A101</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/532/A101</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/A+A/532/A101/table2 (List of the recorded occultation events)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/532/A101/table2?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/532/A101/table2?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/532/A101/table2?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>270.3657083</ra><dec>-25.63675</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/28877 28879 28882 28888 28951 28956-28957</spatial><spectral>8.650015785639275e-20 1.7003137259100215e-19</spectral><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/A+A/532/A101?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Infrared</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/A+A/532/A101/table2</name><description>List of the recorded occultation events</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
