Their proper motions were measured on the MAMA measuring machine from plates spanning 13 to 48 years, and are larger than 0.1arcsec/yr, ruling out the possibility that they are giants. Their distances were estimated from the DENIS colours and IR colour-magnitude relations and range between 15 and 30pc.</description><source format="bibcode">2001A&amp;A...380..590P</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/A+A/380/590</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/B/denis">B/denis : The DENIS database (Epchtein+, 1999)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/I/87">I/87 : LHS Catalogue, 2nd Edition (Luyten 1979)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/I/98">I/98 : NLTT Catalogue (Luyten, 1979)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+AS/105/179">J/A+AS/105/179 : New proper-motion stars Dec&lt;-40, 16&lt;RA&lt;24h (Wroblewski+ 1994)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/401/959">J/A+A/401/959 : 35 DENIS late-M dwarfs between 10 and 30pc (Phan-bao+, 2003)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/380/590</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/380/590</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/380/590</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/380/590</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/380/590</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/380/590</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/A+A/380/590/table45 (Proper motion, MAMA and DENIS photometry and estimated distances or the 30 DENIS red dwarf candidates (tables 4 &amp; 5 of the paper))</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/380/590/table45?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/380/590/table45?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/380/590/table45?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>1.239583</ra><dec>-17.160278</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/16405 16568 16971 17156 17303 17366 18571 21354 23212 24657 24691 25419 25523 25893 27214 31257 31300 32830 32875 34743 34961 35259 40531 43862 44778 45513 45994 46739 48158 48735</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/A+A/380/590?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Infrared</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/A+A/380/590/table45</name><description>Proper motion, MAMA and DENIS photometry and estimated distances or the 30 DENIS red dwarf candidates (tables 4 &amp; 5 of the paper)</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
