We have found a trend for a link between the discontinuity in rotation at the spectral type G0III and the behavior of lithium abundances around the same spectral type. The present work also shows that giant stars presenting the highest lithium contents, typically stars earlier than G0III, are those with the highest rotation rates, pointing for a dependence of lithium content on rotation, as observed for other luminosity classes. Giant stars later than G0III present, as a rule, the lowest rotation rates and lithium contents. A large spread of about five magnitudes in lithium abundance is observed for the slow rotators. Finally, single giant stars with masses 1.5&lt;M/M_{sun}_&lt;=2.5 w a clearest trend for a correlation between rotational velocity and lithium abundance.</description><source format="bibcode">2000A&amp;A...363..239D</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/A+A/363/239</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/363/239</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/363/239</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/363/239</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/363/239</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/363/239</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/363/239</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/A+A/363/239/table2 (Physical parameters for the programme stars)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/363/239/table2?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/363/239/table2?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/363/239/table2?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>3.041608</ra><dec>-17.938278</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/341 377 428 735 737 844 894 915 975 1082 1138 1218 1249 1297 1310 1360 1380 1410 1603 1696 1770 1808 1853 1960 1998 2202 2327 2371 2472 2619 2684 2691 2834 2904 2927 2973 3015 3026 3077 3094 3259 3508 3749 4144 4146 4191 4237 4286 4574 4690 4698 4711 4794 4820 4929 4969 5019 5024 5239 5245 5382 5442 5535 5587 5776 5978 5982 6039 6166 6203 6219 6486 6505 6730 6740 6807 6825 6852 6905 7103 7136 7145 7178 7202 7402 7510 7528 7542 7610 7619 8065 8099 8214 8333 8372 8518 8536 8543 8671 8747 8756 8767 8834 8844 8986 9012 9061 9085 9127 9165 9213 9373 9419 9502 9538 9610 9717 9874 9916 10003 10101 10161 10256 10280 10310 10336 10354 10380 10407 10495 10504 10632 10666 10784 10833-10834 10871 10876 10886 10997 11074 11233 11294 11492 11547 11659 11722 11795 11929 12056 12176 12183 12516 12720 12735 12908 12956 12960 12962 12974 13018 13049 13168 13210 13225 13302 13332-13333 13443 13544 13550 13643 13731 13734 13801 13947 14005 14013 14084 14109 14206 14233 14539 14557 14632 14659 14702 14715 14720 14767 15170 15185 15227 15273 15327 15426 15449 15629 15664 15672 15715 15719 15850 15986 16013 16023 16035 16094 16148 16150 16815 18119 18166 18227 18315 18893 18907 18911 19157 19237 19323 19467 19797 19802 19868 20178 20460 21723 21940 21973 22015 22269 22360 22450 22473 23533 23643-23644 24450 24484 24570 24951 25869 25941-25942 26287 26302 26448 26538 26552 26595 27023 27033 27066 27082 27106 27132 27444 27448 27736 27752 27955 27974 28044 28107 28149 28257 28436 28459 28487 28604 30171 30398 30541 30670 30693 31125 31416 31428 31475 31488 31576 31585 31688 31760 31946 32140 32186 32257 32397 32463 32515 32554 32556 32575 32659 32685 32689 32725 32731 37020 43021 43672</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/A+A/363/239?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Optical</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/A+A/363/239/table2</name><description>Physical parameters for the programme stars</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
