The star is located in the field of the Pelican Nebula and it was discovered in 2010 due to its remarkable increase in the brightness by more than 5mag in R-band. According to the first hypothesis of the variability, V2492 Cyg is an FUor candidate. During subsequent observations, it was reported that the star shows the characteristics inherent to EXor- and UXor-type variables. The optical data show that during the whole time of observations the star exhibits multiple large amplitude increases and drops in the brightness. In the beginning of 2017, we registered a significant increase in the optical brightness of V2492 Cyg, which seriously exceeds the maximal magnitudes registered after 2010.</description><source format="bibcode">2018PASA...35....7I</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/other/PASA/35.7</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/551/A62">J/A+A/551/A62 : V2492 Cyg light variations (Kospal+, 2013)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/145/59">J/AJ/145/59 : PTF 10nvg optical &amp; mid-IR photometry (Hillenbrand+ 2013)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/other/RAA/14.1264">J/other/RAA/14.1264 : V350 Cep UBVRI long-term photometry (Ibryamov+, 2014)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/other/PASA/32.11">J/other/PASA/32.11 : Long-term UBVRI photometry of GM Cep (Semkov+, 2015)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/other/PASA/32.21">J/other/PASA/32.21 : Long-Term Multicolour Photometry of YSOs (Ibryamov+ 2015)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/other/BAJ/22.3">J/other/BAJ/22.3 : BVRI photometry of 5 PMS stars (Ibryamov+, 2015)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/other/BAJ/24.62">J/other/BAJ/24.62 : BVRI Photometry of 14 PMS stars (Ibryamov+, 2016)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/other/RAA/17.20">J/other/RAA/17.20 : V977 Cep &amp; V982 Cep long-term photometry (Ibryamov+ 2017)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/other/RAA/18.137">J/other/RAA/18.137 : 15 PMS stars long-term BVRI photometry (Ibryamov+, 2018)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/other/BAJ/29.10">J/other/BAJ/29.10 : Long-term BVRI photometry of V1704 Cygni (Ibryamov+ 2018)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/other/PASA/35.7</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/other/PASA/35.7</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/other/PASA/35.7</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/other/PASA/35.7</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/other/PASA/35.7</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/other/PASA/35.7</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><coverage><spectral>2.367228618189496e-19 4.920466254354166e-19</spectral><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc"/><waveband>Optical</waveband><waveband>Infrared</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/other/PASA/35.7/table1</name><description>V2492 Cygni photometric CCD observations during the period 2010 Aug-2017 Dec</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
