The central black hole masses for 172 quasars and Seyfert galaxies are calculated in this paper using the reverberation mapping method. The distributions of central black hole masses, redshifts and the Eddington accretion rates are analyzed, to verify the transition from the quasar to the Seyfert galaxy in the course of evolution.</description><source format="bibcode">2008ChA&amp;A..32..351B</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/other/ChA+A/32.351</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/other/ChA+A/32.351</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/other/ChA+A/32.351</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/other/ChA+A/32.351</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/other/ChA+A/32.351</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/other/ChA+A/32.351</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/other/ChA+A/32.351</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/other/ChA+A/32.351/table1 (The redshift, VFWHM, black hole mass and Eddington accretion rate of the Seyfert galaxies and quasars studied in this paper)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/other/ChA+A/32.351/table1?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/other/ChA+A/32.351/table1?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/other/ChA+A/32.351/table1?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>68.2962314</ra><dec>5.3543386</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/601 1521 2052 2134 2245 2600 2836 2867 3402 3930 4088 4285 4439 4506 4572 5091 5439 5597 5722 5731 5767 5806 6252 6618 6977 7129 7246 7426 7508 7873 8017 8071 8299 8528 8641 8858 8922 8941 9442 9490 9633 9676 10039 10163 10217 10472 10578 10691 10912 10927 11203 11388 11490 11551 11668 11715 11829 12301 12380 12400 12604 13496 13800 13905 15067 16027 16087 16093 16113 16184 16253 16301 16323 16496 17184 17346 17488 17727 17819 17866 17909 18022 18214 18320 18669 18769 19283 19413 19609 19740 19746 19883 19932 20099 20535 21266 21935 22658-22659 22890 23014 23099 23121 23323 23364 24116 24615 24775 24845 25239 25255 25428 25472 25549 25677 25742 25965 26131 26292 26297 26509 26642 26650 26769 26900 27080 27227 27322 27580 27862 28060 28356 28471 31127 31190 31211 31407 31430 31685 32841 34095 34881 35249 35801 36139 36417 37385 38268 38383 38763 38802 40332 40344 43417 43743 43870 43877 44043 44088 44502 44785 44908 46439 46964 47419 47540 48589 48595 48614 48965 49042</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/other/ChA+A/32.351?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Optical</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/other/ChA+A/32.351/table1</name><description>The redshift, VFWHM, black hole mass and Eddington accretion rate of the Seyfert galaxies and quasars studied in this paper</description><column><name>Type</name><description>Type of object (2)</description><ucd>src.class</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType" arraysize="3*">char</dataType></column><column><name>z</name><description>Redshift</description><ucd>src.redshift</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType">float</dataType></column><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
