A total of about 3200 stars have been observed in a field of about 13'x13'. The colour-magnitude diagram (CMD) in V, (V-I) has been generated down to V=22mag. A broad but well defined main sequence is clearly visible. Some blue stragglers, a well developed subgiant branch and a Red Clump are also seen. By fitting isochrones to this CMD as well as to other CMDs available in the literature, and using the Red Clump location, the reddening, distance and age of the star cluster have been determined. The cluster has a distance of about 3.3kpc, its radius is about 2.4pc; the reddening E(B-V) is 0.08 mag and the age is about 6.3Gyr. By comparison with theoretical isochrones, a metallicity of [Fe/H]~-0.2dex has been estimated.</description><source format="bibcode">2001BASI...29...53R</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/other/BASI/29.53</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AcA/41/167">J/AcA/41/167 : UBV photometry in Berkeley 32 (Kaluzny+, 1991)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/PASJ/56/295">J/PASJ/56/295 : BVIc photometry of old open clusters (Hasegawa+, 2004)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/480/79">J/A+A/480/79 : Abundances of giants in 5 Galactic clusters (Bragaglia+ 2008)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/496/441">J/A+A/496/441 : Radial velocities of Berkeley 32 stars (Randich+ 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/368/471">J/MNRAS/368/471 : Berkeley 32 BVI photometry and spectroscopy (D'Orazi+ 2006)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/other/BASI/29.53</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/other/BASI/29.53</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/other/BASI/29.53</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/other/BASI/29.53</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/other/BASI/29.53</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/other/BASI/29.53</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/other/BASI/29.53/be32 ((VI) photometry in Berkeley 32)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/other/BASI/29.53/be32?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/other/BASI/29.53/be32?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/other/BASI/29.53/be32?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>104.4851286</ra><dec>6.5300458</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/22237 22239</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/other/BASI/29.53?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Optical</waveband><waveband>Infrared</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/other/BASI/29.53/be32</name><description>(VI) photometry in Berkeley 32</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
