In this work, we observe H I content of the rest 113 massive red spiral galaxies using the Five- hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope (FAST). 75 of the 113 galaxies have H I detection with a signal-to-noise ratio (S/N) greater than 4.7. Compared with the red spirals in the same sample that have been observed by the ALFALFA survey, galaxies observed by FAST have on average a higher S/N, and reach to a lower H I mass. To investigate why many red spirals contain a significant amount of H I mass, we check colour profiles of the massive red spirals using images observed by the DESI Legacy Imaging Surveys. We find that galaxies with H I detection have bluer outer discs than the galaxies without H I detection, for both ALFALFA and FAST samples. For galaxies with H I detection, there exists a clear correlation between galaxy H I mass and g-r colour at outer radius: galaxies with higher H I masses have bluer outer discs. The results indicate that optically selected massive red spirals are not fully quenched, and the H I gas observed in many of the galaxies may exist in their outer blue discs.</description><source format="bibcode">2022MNRAS.516.2337W</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/MNRAS/516/2337</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/210/3">J/ApJS/210/3 : SDSS bulge, disk and total stellar mass estimates</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/196/11">J/ApJS/196/11 : Bulge+disk decompositions of SDSS galaxies (Simard+, 2011)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/861/49">J/ApJ/861/49 : ALFALFA extragalactic HI source catalog (Haynes+, 2018)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/733/74">J/ApJ/733/74 : GALEX - SDSS properties of local galaxies (Lemonias+, 2011)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/II/294">II/294 : The SDSS Photometric Catalog, Release 7</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/474/1909">J/MNRAS/474/1909 : Passive spiral galaxies quench (Fraser-McKelvie+, 2018)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/516/2337</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/516/2337</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/516/2337</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/516/2337</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/516/2337</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/516/2337</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/MNRAS/516/2337/table1 (Results of the massive red spirals observed by FAST)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/516/2337/table1?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/516/2337/table1?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/516/2337/table1?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>122.377</ra><dec>47.7896</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/4751 5371 5427 5530 5594 5687 5703 5727 5775 5798 5886 5888 5904 6030 6043 6049-6050 6056 6058 6082 6084 6089 6124 6552 6557 6580 6584 6599 6605 6607 7216 7220 7249 7260 7335 7339 7354 7368 7383 7404 7441 7466 7479 7506 8595 8643 8673 9309 9397 9464 9468 9634 9757 9812 9942 9945 9956 9966 10095 10114 10121 10144 10455 10549 10621 10707 10742 10816 10827 10843 10847 10880 10974 10995-10996 11041 11131 11195 11200 11236 11287 11348 11405 11415 11420 11433 11438 11476 11826 17322 17503 17510 17810 18002 18788 19085 23208 23233 25567 25916 26172 26976 27028 27048 32447 32492 36785 36805 40957 45047</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/MNRAS/516/2337?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Optical</waveband><waveband>Radio</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/MNRAS/516/2337/table1</name><description>Results of the massive red spirals observed by FAST</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
