Based on the three-dimensional dust extinction map and the best-fitting extinction and distance information of over 17 million stars presented in Guo et al. (2021ApJ...906...47G), we have identified 250 dust/molecular clouds in the Southern sky using a hierarchical structure identification algorithm. Amongst these are 71 clouds located at high Galactic latitudes (b &lt; -10{deg}). We have estimated the distances to the clouds by fitting the extinction versus distance profiles of the lines of sight overlapping with the clouds, using a simple Gaussian dust distribution model. The typical uncertainties of the distances are less than 7 per cent. We also provide the physical properties of the individual clouds, including the linear radius, mass and surface mass density.</description><source format="bibcode">2022MNRAS.511.2302G</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/MNRAS/511/2302</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/591/A5">J/A+A/591/A5 : ATLASGAL dense filamentary structures (Li+, 2016)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/VII/244">VII/244 : Atlas and Catalog of Dark Clouds (Dobashi+, 2005)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/834/57">J/ApJ/834/57 : Milky Way molecular clouds from ^12^CO</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/II/349">II/349 : The Pan-STARRS release 1 (PS1) Survey - DR1 (Chambers+, 2016)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/786/29">J/ApJ/786/29 : Catalog of distances to molecular clouds (Schlafly+, 2014)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/VII/233">VII/233 : 2MASS All-Sky Extended Source Catalog (XSC)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/706/727">J/ApJ/706/727 : Distance and mass of Infrared Dark Clouds (Marshall+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/PASJ/63/S1">J/PASJ/63/S1 : Atlas and catalog of dark clouds based on 2MASS</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/633/A51">J/A+A/633/A51 : Distances to molecular clouds in SFR (Zucker+, 2020)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/II/358">II/358 : SkyMapper Southern Sky Survey.
