We also compile host galaxy and nuclear magnitudes for blazars from literature. The combined sample (this work and compilation) contains 100 radio-loud AGN with host galaxy detections and a broad range of radio luminosities L_1.4GHz_~10^23.7^-10^28.3^W/Hz, allowing us to divide our sample into high-luminosity blazars (HLBs) and low-luminosity blazars (LLBs). The host galaxies of our sample are bright and seem to follow the {mu}_e_-Reff relation for ellipticals and bulges. The two populations of blazars show different behaviours in the M_K,nuclear_-M_K,bulge_ plane, where a statistically significant correlation is observed for HLBs. Although it may be affected by selection effects, this correlation suggests a close coupling between the accretion mode of the central supermassive black hole and its host galaxy, which could be interpreted in terms of AGN feedback. Our findings are consistent with semi-analytical models where low-luminosity AGN emit the bulk of their energy in the form of radio jets, producing a strong feedback mechanism, and high-luminosity AGN are affected by galaxy mergers and interactions, which provide a common supply of cold gas to feed both nuclear activity and star formation episodes.</description><source format="bibcode">2016MNRAS.460.3202O</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/MNRAS/460/3202</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+AS/132/305">J/A+AS/132/305 : Extragal. radio sources at 22, 37 and 87GHz (Terasranta+ 1998)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/535/A69">J/A+A/535/A69 : AGN Fermi/LAT {gamma}-ray and 37GHz fluxes (Nieppola+, 2011)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/460/3202</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/460/3202</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/460/3202</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/460/3202</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/460/3202</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/460/3202</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/MNRAS/460/3202/tablea1 (Best-fitting parameters of the morphological fittings and general properties of the combined (this work and literature compilation))</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/460/3202/tablea1?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/460/3202/tablea1?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/460/3202/tablea1?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>1.5575</ra><dec>-6.393139</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/110 342 556 615 2273 2340 3431 4475 4805 5139 5597 5723 5778 5918 6018 6021 6647 6764 7038 7233 7265 7296 7548 7871 7989 8067 8374 8487 8556 8972 9633 9773 10422 10519 10605 11253 11352 11429-11430 11449 11514 11639 11682 11715 11795 11936 12466 13410 15067 15286 15311 16027 16093 16281 16298 16447 17184 17193 17351 17516 17579 17820 18669 19088 19190 19271 20065 21935 21972 22363 22659 22823 23121 23134 23222 23478 26131 26292 26949 27722 28115 28138 28454 28479 28492 28517 31389 31430 31894 34514 34531 35720 36342 44908 47540 48023</spatial><spectral>9.276497240453405e-25 9.276497240453405e-25</spectral><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/MNRAS/460/3202?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Optical</waveband><waveband>Infrared</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/MNRAS/460/3202/tablea1</name><description>Best-fitting parameters of the morphological fittings and general properties of the combined (this work and literature compilation)</description><column><name>SimbadName</name><description>Simbad column added by the CDS</description><ucd>meta.id</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType" arraysize="15*">char</dataType></column><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
