The observed stars belong to the substructures of the Galaxy thick and thin disks, and to the Hercules stream. The observations were conducted using the 1.93m telescope at Observatoire de Haute-Provence (OHP, France) equipped with the echelle-type spectrographs ELODIE and SOPHIE. The abundances were derived under the LTE approximation, with an average error for the [Mn/Fe] ratio of 0.10dex. For most of the stars in the sample, Mn abundances are not available in the literature. We obtain an evolution of [Mn/Fe] ratio with the metallicity [Fe/H] consistent with previous data compilations. In particular, within the metallicity range covered by our stellar sample, the [Mn/Fe] ratio is increasing with the increase of metallicity. This due to the contribution to the Galactic chemical evolution of Mn and Fe from thermonuclear supernovae. We confirm the baseline scenario where most of the Mn in the Galactic disc and in the Sun is made by thermonuclear supernovae. In particular, the effective contribution from core-collapse supernovae to the Mn in the Solar system is about 10-20 per cent. However, present uncertainties affecting the production of Mn and Fe in thermonuclear supernovae are limiting the constraining power of the observed [Mn/Fe] trend in the Galactic discs on, e.g. the frequency of different thermonuclear supernovae populations. The different production of these two elements in different types of thermonuclear supernovae needs to be disentangled by the dependence of their relative production on the metallicity of the supernova progenitor.</description><source format="bibcode">2015MNRAS.454.1585M</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/MNRAS/454/1585</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/577/A9">J/A+A/577/A9 : Sc, V, Mn, and Co in Milky Way stars (Battistini+, 2015)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/454/1585</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/454/1585</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/454/1585</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/454/1585</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/454/1585</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/454/1585</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/MNRAS/454/1585/table1 (Atmospheric parameters and Mn abundance logA(Mn) each used line ({lambda}, {AA}) and [Mn/Fe] ratio for our target stars)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/454/1585/table1?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/454/1585/table1?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/454/1585/table1?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity></capability><coverage><spatial>6/49 60 100 137 237 309 377 455 684 742 819 918 987 1028 1084 1247 1330 1341 1530 1728 1875 2167 2169 2317 2366 2472 2476 2491 2622 2652 2697 2923 3020 3102 3258 3313 3372 3509 3639 3662 3683 3691 3780 3809 3979 4079 4278 4735 4762 5304 5498 5824 5932 6217 6226 6273 6287 6385 6398 6409 6662 6766 6953 7443 7763 8094 8224 8357 8466 8663 8995 9072 9476 9492 9662 9679 9801 9843 9873 10004 10062 10325 10375 10518 10812 10899 10914 11126 11150 11165 11633 11713 11806 11834 12228 12282 12388 12494 12654 12704 12856 12890 12944 12983 13036 13075 13164 13478 13487 13547 13568 13749 13763 13769 13778 13791 14131 14180 14252 14278 14290 14342 14419 14426 14502 14534 14539 14650 15030 15044 15107 15174 15221 15227 15373 15722 15727 16031 16069 16144 16220 16252 16342 16883 17219 17768 18115 18139 18184 18615 19132 19181 19219 19327 19836 19912 19923 20127 20145 20278 20328 20402 21177 21484 21726 21901 21953 22040 22157 22340 22354 22654 22818 23096 23190 23230 23284 23342 23515 23575 23583 23600 23624 23661 23774 23938 24016 24028 24036 24151 24536 25766 25846 25862 25966 26379 26468 26521 26575 26975 27712 28122 28494 29675 30049 30123 30127 30166 30176 30206 30540 30658 30878 30965 31101 31130 31145 31172 31204 31393 31399 31425 31433 31478 31768 31796 31848 31874 31920 32001 32067 32211 32224 32509 32561 32619 32757 36664 40716 40823 44284 49114</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/MNRAS/454/1585?format=ascii</footprint></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/MNRAS/454/1585/table1</name><description>Atmospheric parameters and Mn abundance logA(Mn) each used line ({lambda}, {AA}) and [Mn/Fe] ratio for our target stars</description><column><name>Teff</name><description>?
