According to our study, the dispersion of values of {mu}_0D_ is twice as high as that found previously by other authors. We conclude that the DM surface density and its Newtonian acceleration are not constant but correlate with the luminosity, morphological type, (B-V)_0_ colour index and content of neutral hydrogen. These DM parameters are higher for more luminous systems of early types with red colour and low gas content. We also found that the correlation of DM parameters with colour index appears to be the manifestation of a stronger relation between DM halo mass and the colour of a galaxy. This finding is in agreement with cosmological simulations. These results leave little room for the recently claimed universality of DM column density. We also found that isolated galaxies in our sample (contained in the Analysis of the interstellar Medium of Isolated GAlaxies (AMIGA) catalogue) do not differ significantly in their value of {mu}_0D_ from the entire sample. Thus, since the AMIGA catalogue gives a sample of galaxies that have not interacted with a significant mass neighbour in the past 3Gyr, the difference between systems with low and high values of {mu}_0D_ is not related to merging events during this period of time.</description><source format="bibcode">2014MNRAS.445.3512S</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/MNRAS/445/3512</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/445/3512</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/445/3512</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/445/3512</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/445/3512</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/445/3512</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/445/3512</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/MNRAS/445/3512/tablea1 (The properties of sample galaxies)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/445/3512/tablea1?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/445/3512/tablea1?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/445/3512/tablea1?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>112.8258333</ra><dec>-68.1877778</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/739 816 2071 2155 2169 2320 2324 2382 2409 2709 2866 3085 3506 3558 3573 3922 4534 4554 4599 4689 4695 4820 5096 5124 5174 5545 5581 5596 5631 5636 5710 5715 5751 5967 5982 6204 6411 6604-6605 6623 7241 7303 7498 7602 7606-7607 7624 7743 7769 7799 7878 7956 8010 8095 8113 8552 8557 9149 9855 10183 10475 10601 10650 10704 10711 10769 10799 10841 10847 10856 10881 10888 10935 10976-10977 11027 11127 11227 11263 11375 11379 11434 11448 11566 11639 11681 11691 12570 12742 13130 13489 13516 13522 13668 15551 15592 15594 16098 16194 16441 16595 16605 16655 16701 17472 17747 18214 18269 18398 18794 18895 19570 20188 20353 20438 22495 24716 24752 25091 25222 26271 26303 26365 27030 27186 27207 27468 27515 27580 27606 27714 27719 27728 27731 27741 27773 27861 27907 27914 27917-27918 27937 27942 27945 27955 28035 28053 28087 28107 28142 28149 28167 28259 28261 28334 28361 28535 28612 29718 32545 35536 35969 36247 37437 38102 38184 38314 38390 38473 38645 38761 38781 38817 38846 38852 38896 39100 39448 43420 43564 43575 43594 43626 43628 43630 43668 43677 43717 43726 43836 43858 43875-43876 43878 43881 43975 46003 46010 46597 48264</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/MNRAS/445/3512?format=ascii</footprint></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/MNRAS/445/3512/tablea1</name><description>The properties of sample galaxies</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
