At present, 97 galaxies of them have individual distance estimates. We use these data to clarify the structure and kinematics of the UMa complex. According to Makarov &amp; Karachentsev (2011MNRAS.412.2498M, Cat. J/MNRAS/412/2498), most of the UMa galaxies belong to seven bound groups, which have the following median parameters: velocity dispersion of 58k/s, harmonic projected radius of 300kpc, virial mass of 2x10^12^M{sun} and virial mass-to-K-band luminosity ratio of 27M{sun}/L{sun}. Almost a half of the UMa cloud population are gas-rich dwarfs (Ir, Im, BCD) with active star formation seen in the GALEX UV-survey. The UMa groups reside within 15-19Mpc from us, being just at the same distance as the Virgo cluster. The total virial mass of the UMa groups is 4x10^13^M{sun}, yielding the average density of dark matter in the UMa cloud to be {Omega}m=0.08, i.e. a factor of 3 lower than the cosmic average. This is despite the fact that the UMa cloud resides in a region of the Universe that is an apparent overdensity. A possible explanation for this is that most mass in the Universe lies in the empty space between clusters. Herewith, the mean distances and velocities of the UMa groups follow nearly undisturbed Hubble flow without a sign of the 'Z-wave' effect caused by infall towards a massive attractor. This constrains the total amount of dark matter between the UMa groups within the cloud volume.</description><source format="bibcode">2013MNRAS.429.2264K</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/MNRAS/429/2264</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/412/2498">J/MNRAS/412/2498 : Galaxy groups &amp; clouds in local universe (Makarov+, 2011)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/429/2264</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/429/2264</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/MNRAS/429/2264</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/429/2264</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/429/2264</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/MNRAS/429/2264</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/MNRAS/429/2264/table1 (List of 270 galaxies within {alpha}=[11.0h,13.0h], {delta}=[+40,+60{deg}] and V_LG_=[500-1500]km/s)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/429/2264/table1?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/429/2264/table1?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/MNRAS/429/2264/table1?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>165.000833</ra><dec>54.425556</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>5/1373 1407 1494-1495 1501 2744 2794 6/5461 5463 5466 5468-5469 5471 5482 5490 5500-5501 5503 5534 5559 5567 5572 5579 5581 5583-5584 5586-5587 5589-5591 5593-5596 5598-5599 5617 5621 5623 5625 5943 5951 5955-5956 5959-5960 5964 5966-5967 5969 5971-5972 5974-5975 5987 5992 5995 6001 6009 6011-6013 6080 6085 6093 6097 6100 6104 6116 10863 10878 10897 10899-10901 10905 10908 10910 10921 10923-10925 10927 10929-10932 10934-10935 10938 10943 10950 10952 10954-10955 10965 10980-10982 10984-10986 10990-10991 10998 11000-11002 11005-11006 11140 11143 11161 11169 11180 11182-11183 11232</spatial><spectral>8.650015785639275e-20 9.710690472292815e-20</spectral><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/MNRAS/429/2264?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Optical</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/MNRAS/429/2264/table1</name><description>List of 270 galaxies within {alpha}=[11.0h,13.0h], {delta}=[+40,+60{deg}] and V_LG_=[500-1500]km/s</description><column><name>TType</name><description>[-5/10] T Type morphology</description><ucd>src.morph.type</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType">int</dataType></column><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
