These objects offer the opportunity to study the existence of possible evolutionary links between the late- and early-type LG dwarf galaxies, since the properties of dTs suggest that they may be dwarf irregulars in the process of transforming into dwarf spheroidals. Using FORS at the Very Large Telescope (VLT), we have acquired VI photometry of Phoenix. The data reach a signal-to-noise ratio (S/N)~10 just below the horizontal branch of the system and consist of a mosaic of images that covers an area of 26x26arcmin^2^ centred on the coordinates of the optical centre of the galaxy.</description><source format="bibcode">2012MNRAS.424.1113B</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/MNRAS/424/1113</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/296/839">J/MNRAS/296/839 : Phoenix Deep Survey: 1.4-GHz source counts (Hopkins+, 1998)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/306/708">J/MNRAS/306/708 : The Phoenix Survey (Georgakakis+, 1999)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/624/135">J/ApJ/624/135 : Phoenix Deep Survey spectroscopic catalog (Afonso+, 2005)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/125/465">J/AJ/125/465 : Phoenix Deep Survey 1.4-GHz microJy Catalog (Hopkins+, 2003)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/155/1">J/ApJS/155/1 : Phoenix Deep Survey: optical &amp; NIR catalogs (Sullivan+ 2004)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/385/1045">J/MNRAS/385/1045 : Phoenix dwarf gal.
