Both distributions are statistically independent, with PCEBs showing a clear concentration of systems towards the low-mass end of the distribution and the white dwarf mass distribution of wide WDMS binaries being similar to that of single white dwarfs. Our results provide evidence that the majority of low-mass (Mwd&lt;~0.5M_{sun}_) white dwarfs are formed in close binaries.</description><source format="bibcode">2011MNRAS.413.1121R</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/MNRAS/413/1121</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/382/1377">J/MNRAS/382/1377 : SDSS WD main-sequence binaries (Rebassa-Mansergas+, 2007)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/402/620">J/MNRAS/402/620 : SDSS WD main-sequence binaries (Rebassa-Mansergas+, 2010)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/513/L7">J/A+A/513/L7 : SDSS post common envelope binaries.
