HI mass upper limits are also calculated for 134 non-detections in the field. Stellar masses (M*), star formation rates (SFRs), and star formation histories are computed by fitting spectral energy distributions using ProSpect. The results show that HI-selected galaxies prefer recent long-lasting, but mild star formation activity, while HI non-detections have earlier and more intense star formation activity. Based on their distribution on the SFR versus M* diagram, the typical evolution of HI-selected galaxies follows three distinct stages: (i) early stage: the total SFR increases, though the specific SFR decreases from 10^-8^ to 10^-9^/yr; (ii) mass accumulation stage: the SFR is steady, and stellar mass increase linearly with time; (iii) quenching stage: star formation activity quenches on a rapid timescale and at constant stellar mass. 37 non-detections are located on the star-forming main sequence, but are not detected in HI due to low sensitivity close to the field edges or close to strong radio frequency interference. Comparisons with the existing optical, optically selected HI, and HI catalogs show a good agreement with respect to measured M* and SFR, with minor discrepancies due to selection effects. The ongoing full FUDS survey will help us better explore the evolutionary stages of HI galaxies through a larger sample.</description><source format="bibcode">2025ApJS..278...15X</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/ApJS/278/15</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/VIII/73">VIII/73 : HI Parkes All Sky Survey Catalogue (HIPASS) (Meyer+, 2004)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/VIII/89">VIII/89 : Northern HI Parkes All Sky Survey Catalogue (HIPASS) (Wong+, 2006)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/II/294">II/294 : The SDSS Photometric Catalog, Release 7 (Adelman-McCarthy+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/II/328">II/328 : AllWISE Data Release (Cutri+ 2013)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/II/335">II/335 : Revised cat. of GALEX UV sources (GUVcat_AIS GR6+7) (Bianchi+ 2017)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/II/363">II/363 : The band-merged unWISE Catalog (Schlafly+, 2019)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/V/154">V/154 : Sloan Digital Sky Surveys (SDSS), Release 16 (DR16) (Ahumada+, 2020)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/VII/292">VII/292 : DESI Legacy Imaging Surveys DR8 photometric redshifts (Duncan, 2022)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/V/161">V/161 : DESI DR1 redshift catalog (DESI Col.+ 2025)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/403/683">J/MNRAS/403/683 : GALEX Arecibo SDSS survey (GASS) (Catinella+, 2010)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/139/315">J/AJ/139/315 : HI-selected galaxies in SDSS.
