The 2.5-5.0{mu}m spectral region contains emission lines such as Br{beta} (2.63{mu}m), Br{alpha} (4.05{mu}m), and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (3.3{mu}m), which can be used for studying the black hole (BH) masses and star formation activity in the host galaxies of AGNs. The spectral region also suffers less dust extinction than in the ultra violet (UV) or optical wavelengths, which may provide an unobscured view of dusty AGNs. Our sample is selected from bright quasar surveys of Palomar-Green and SNUQSO, and AGNs with reverberation-mapped BH masses from Peterson et al. Using 11 AGNs with reliable detection of Brackett lines, we derive the Brackett-line-based BH mass estimators. We also find that the observed Brackett line ratios can be explained with the commonly adopted physical conditions of the broad line region. Moreover, we fit the hot and warm dust components of the dust torus by adding photometric data of SDSS, 2MASS, WISE, and ISO to the AKARI spectra, finding hot and warm dust temperatures of ~1100K and ~220K, respectively, rather than the commonly cited hot dust temperature of 1500K.</description><source format="bibcode">2015ApJS..216...17K</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/ApJS/216/17</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/II/207">II/207 : Palomar-Green catalog UV-excess stellar objects (Green+ 1986)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/214/23">J/ApJS/214/23 : IR spectra and photometry of z&lt;0.5 quasars (Shi+, 2014)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/PASJ/65/103">J/PASJ/65/103 : PAH3.3um/IR luminosity for infrared galaxies (Yamada+, 2013)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/434/3104">J/MNRAS/434/3104 : QSOs SED shapes from optical to NIR (Hao+, 2013)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/207/37">J/ApJS/207/37 : IR sources spectroscopy in the AKARI NEP (Shim+, 2013)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/761/184">J/ApJ/761/184 : IR luminosities for dusty AGNs and QSOs (Weedman+, 2012)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/757/51">J/ApJ/757/51 : FIRST-2MASS dust-reddened QSO spectra (Glikman+, 2012)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/753/125">J/ApJ/753/125 : NIR spectroscopy follow-up of 60 SDSS-DR7 QSOs (Shen+, 2012)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/753/104">J/ApJ/753/104 : AGN identifications from AKARI and Swift (Matsuta+, 2012)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/414/500">J/MNRAS/414/500 : Spitzer/IRS ATLAS project source (Hernan-Caballero+, 2011)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/194/45">J/ApJS/194/45 : QSO properties from SDSS-DR7 (Shen+, 2011)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/705/14">J/ApJ/705/14 : Seyfert galaxies in the mid-IR (Deo+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/698/1095">J/ApJ/698/1095 : The FIRST-2MASS red QSO survey.
