The catalog lists the original host object, compiles available redshifts, and presents newly determined positions for the central (target) galaxy and its nearest companion(s). 127 collisional RING systems are illustrated and their components identified. All of the RINGS have plausible colliders identified; many are radial-velocity confirmed companions. Finally, we make note of the existence of a rare subclass of RING galaxies exemplified by AM 2136-492, double/concentric RING galaxies. These objects are predicted by numerical simulations, but they appear to be quite rare and/or short lived in nature.</description><source format="bibcode">2009ApJS..181..572M</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/ApJS/181/572</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/VII/170">VII/170 : Catalogue of Southern Peculiar Galaxies and Associations (Arp+, 1987)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+AS/129/357">J/A+AS/129/357 : Morphology of peculiar ring galaxies (Faundez-Abans+ 1998)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/96/39">J/ApJS/96/39 : Catalog of Southern Ringed Galaxies (Buta+, 1995)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJS/181/572</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJS/181/572</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJS/181/572</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJS/181/572</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJS/181/572</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJS/181/572</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/ApJS/181/572/table12 (Arp-Madore sample of RING galaxies and their companions, and supplementary list of previously published RING galaxies and their companions)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/ApJS/181/572/table12?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/ApJS/181/572/table12?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/ApJS/181/572/table12?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>9.28875</ra><dec>-34.9375</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/2359 2409 5076 5221 5232 5523 6539 7902 9641 9954 10642 10782 11942 16525 16578 16715 16909 17351 17492 17748 17905 18809 19626 20521 23099 23215 24752 24767 26866 27110 27339 31424 32815 32819 33130 33131 33134 33183 33212 33265 33277 33433 33465 33524 33555 33635 33656 33914 33995 34013 34109 34125 34245 34368 34389 34399 34493 34658 34745 34837 34930 35058 35307 35548 35559 35576 35650 35666 35720 36075 36786 37003 37016 37022 37388 37554 38228 38518 38670 39453 40265 40989 41108 41998 43522 43586 43621 43950 43965 43982 44024 44052 44263 44570 44584 44591 44677 45274 45289 45307 45354 45355 45377 45391 45400 45441 45549 45910 45915 45989 46044 46058 46197 46233 46269 46310 46585 46602 46626 46627 46636 46928 46950 47111 47336 47460 47494 47518 47997 48131 48217 48318 48401 48419 48450 48643</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/ApJS/181/572?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Optical</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/ApJS/181/572/table12</name><description>Arp-Madore sample of RING galaxies and their companions, and supplementary list of previously published RING galaxies and their companions</description><column><name>[MNP2009]</name><description>Component name (G1)</description><ucd>meta.id;meta.main</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType" arraysize="17*">char</dataType></column><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
