Accurate values of N_H_ have now been obtained for the whole PG bright quasar sample and most quasars that have been observed by ROSAT and the Hubble Space Telescope through mid-1993. The spectra were corrected for stray 21cm radiation yielding values of N_H_ with a typical uncertainty of 1x10^19cm^-2 for high Galactic latitude directions. The H I column densities will be useful for correcting for interstellar opacity at UV and soft X-ray wavelengths, and for estimating the reddening and extinction toward these objects.</description><source format="bibcode">1996ApJS..105..369M</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/ApJS/105/369</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJS/105/369</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJS/105/369</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJS/105/369</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJS/105/369</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJS/105/369</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJS/105/369</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/ApJS/105/369/table1 (Summary of 21 cm H I observations)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/ApJS/105/369/table1?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/ApJS/105/369/table1?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/ApJS/105/369/table1?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>0.84543</ra><dec>-26.05556</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/141 513 532 595 1154 2052 2201 2251 2414 2564 3820 3886 3971 4027 4054 4303 4333 4439 4473 4693 4820 4835 4992 5102 5244 5290 5367 5395 5437 5576 5597 5671 5687 5693 5746 5767 5795 5806 5922 5952 5975 6011 6018 6028 6034 6093 7214 7226 7246 7426 7642 7728 7777 7857 7896 7959 7969 7998 8031 8057 8123 8152 8299 8452 8707 8881 8893 8922 8950 9018 9194 9231 9272 9402 9460 9750 10084 10162 10163 10265 10269 10353 10411 10472 10495 10501 10605 10630 10653 10694 10709 10817 10912 10977 11029 11048 11099 11101 11260 11263 11354 11551 11782 11924 12241 13120 13320 14858 16059 16269 16281 16298 16301 16589 16656 16701 17188 17754 17814 17819 17839 17850 18022 18207 18208 18387 18683 18763 18794 18919 19360 19712 19797 19872 19883 20116 20624 22658 22721 25083 25302 25403 25735 25789 25907 25990 26125 26303 26313 26499 26561 26859 26902 27060 27127 27191 27561 27580 27581 27718 27721 27756 27767 27807 27846 27848 27907 27914 27918 27937 27944 27955 28039 28045 28086 28138 28148 28152 28167 28184 28275 28315 28419 28495 28508 28517 28535 28540 28593 30021 31158 31211 31998 34123 34210 34273 34531 34535 35272 35585 35801 35993 36733 36775 36785 38268 38653 38763 40730 43694 43925 44805 44988 47941 48023 48589 49042</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/ApJS/105/369?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Radio</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/ApJS/105/369/table1</name><description>Summary of 21 cm H I observations</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
