To allow for the fullest exploration of this field, we present new optical spectroscopy from Keck/DEIMOS and Keck/LRIS, which, in combination with the literature, brings the spectroscopic completeness of the 2-8keV sample to 62%. We also make optical spectral classifications and estimate photometric redshifts for the sources without spectroscopic redshifts. We then determine hard X-ray luminosity functions (XLFs) for the full sample of active galactic nuclei (AGNs), as well as for the broad-line AGNs (BLAGNs) and the non-BLAGNs separately. Our XLF for the full sample is in good agreement with the literature, showing relatively strong evolution over the redshift range 0.25&lt;=z&lt;4. The XLFs for the BLAGNs and the non-BLAGNs imply distinct evolution with redshift, with BLAGNs becoming increasingly dominant at higher redshifts and X-ray luminosities.</description><source format="bibcode">2022ApJ...940..114R</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/ApJ/940/114</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/B/chandra">B/chandra : The Chandra Archive Log (CXC, 1999-2014)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/II/290">II/290 : SWIRE Photometric Redshift Catalogue (Rowan-Robinson+, 2008)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/II/319">II/319 : UKIDSS-DR9 LAS, GCS and DXS Surveys (Lawrence+ 2012)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/V/154">V/154 : Sloan Digital Sky Surveys (SDSS), Release 16 (DR16) (Ahumada+, 2020)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/455/75">J/ApJ/455/75 : CFRS III: 1415+52 and 2215+00 fields (Lilly+ 1995)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/409/79">J/A+A/409/79 : HELLAS2XMM survey.
