We report new optical (gi) and near-infrared (NIR, JKs) multi-epoch observations for 129 RR Lyrae, 4 Population II Cepheids (3 BL Herculis, 1 W Virginis), and 1 anomalous Cepheid variable candidate in M15 obtained using the MegaCam and the WIRCam instruments on the 3.6m Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope. Multi-band data are used to improve the periods and classification of variable stars, and determine accurate mean magnitudes and pulsational amplitudes from the light curves fitted with optical and NIR templates. We derive optical and NIR period-luminosity relations for RR Lyrae stars which are best constrained in the Ks band, m_Ks_=-2.333(0.054)logP+13.948(0.015) with a scatter of only 0.037mag. Theoretical and empirical calibrations of RR Lyrae period-luminosity-metallicity relations are used to derive a true distance modulus to M15: 15.196+/-0.026 (statistical) +/-0.039(systematic) mag. Our precise distance moduli based on RR Lyrae stars and Population II Cepheid variables are mutually consistent and agree with recent distance measurements in the literature based on Gaia parallaxes and other independent methods.</description><source format="bibcode">2021ApJ...922...20B</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/ApJ/922/20</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/B/cfht">B/cfht : Log of CFHT Exposures (CADC, 1979-)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/II/246">II/246 : 2MASS All-Sky Catalog of Point Sources (Cutri+ 2003)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/V/150">V/150 : Updated catalog of variable stars in globular clusters (Clement+ 2017)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/110/704">J/AJ/110/704 : RR Lyrae Variables in M15 (Silbermann+ 1995)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/119/2274">J/AJ/119/2274 : JK Photometry of globular clusters M15 &amp; M56 (Ivanov+, 2000)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/351/1204">J/MNRAS/351/1204 : IR phot. of 10 Galactic Globular Clusters (Valenti+, 2004)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/129/267">J/AJ/129/267 : RR Lyrae variables in NGC 5272 (Cacciari+, 2005)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/129/2714">J/AJ/129/2714 : JHK photometry of M92 variable stars (Del Principe+, 2005)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/130/2140">J/AJ/130/2140 : Abund. and velocities in globular clusters (Pritzl+, 2005)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/other/RMxAA/42.75">J/other/RMxAA/42.75 : CCD RV LC of M15 RR Lyrae (Arellano Ferro+, 2006)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/371/1503">J/MNRAS/371/1503 : Synthetic photometry of RR Lyr (Marconi+, 2006)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/370/1979">J/MNRAS/370/1979 : JHKs phot. of T2Cs in globular clusters (Matsunaga+, 2006)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/135/1459">J/AJ/135/1459 : Period of M15 variable stars (Corwin+, 2008)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/708/717">J/ApJ/708/717 : Light curve templates of RR Lyrae stars (Sesar+, 2010)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/142/187">J/AJ/142/187 : HST obs. of 7 Pop.II variable stars (Benedict+, 2011)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/439/3765">J/MNRAS/439/3765 : RR Lyrae in 15 Galactic globular clusters (Dambis+, 2014)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/437/2307">J/MNRAS/437/2307 : LMC anomalous Cepheid Ks light curves (Ripepi+, 2014)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/447/3342">J/MNRAS/447/3342 : Galactic &amp; LMC Cepheids Fourier parameters (Bhardwaj+, 2015)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/814/71">J/ApJ/814/71 : Carina project IX: UBVI of Carina variables (Coppola+, 2015)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/807/127">J/ApJ/807/127 : 70 RR Lyrae stars in the LMC bar (Muraveva+, 2015)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/150/129">J/AJ/150/129 : Swift UVOT stars survey.
