Using the high-precision photometric data from the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite, two new independent frequencies F1=22.6424(1)day^-1^ and F2=28.6803(5)day^-1^ were identified for this source, along with the fundamental one F=17.9176(7)day^-1^, which was previously known. In addition, the classical O-C analysis was conducted to give a new ephemeris formula of BJD_max_=T0+P*E=2453321.534716(4)+0.055811(0)*E. The O-C diagram reveals a continuous period increase, but the rate of (1/P)(dP/dt)=1.11(3)x10^-7^yr^-1^ seems much larger (about hundreds) than predicted by evolution theories, which is long been noticed but not well understood, possibly related to nonlinear mode interaction. Based on frequency parameters (i.e., F, F1, and F2), a series of theoretical models were conducted by employing the stellar evolution code. It turns out that F1 should be a non-radial mode and F2 is the second overtone radial mode. Due to the mass-metallicity degeneracy, the stellar parameter of the star can however not be determined conclusively. We suggest high-resolution spectral observation is highly desired in the future to further constrain models. We note GSC4552-1498 is located on the main sequence in the H-R diagram.</description><source format="bibcode">2021ApJ...922..199S</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/ApJ/922/199</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/B/vsx">B/vsx : AAVSO International Variable Star Index VSX (Watson+, 2006-)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/IV/39">IV/39 : TESS Input Catalog version 8.2 (TIC v8.2) (Paegert+, 2021)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/534/A125">J/A+A/534/A125 : Variability of A- &amp; F-stars from Kepler (Uytterhoeven+ 2011)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/439/2078">J/MNRAS/439/2078 : High-frequency A-type pulsators (Holdsworth+, 2014)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/460/1970">J/MNRAS/460/1970 : Kepler {delta} Sct stars amp. modulation (Bowman+, 2016)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/475/478">J/MNRAS/475/478 : delta Scuti pulsating stars LAMOST views (Qian+, 2018)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/490/4040">J/MNRAS/490/4040 : {delta} Scuti &amp; {gamma} Dor stars in TESS (Antoci+, 2019)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/638/A59">J/A+A/638/A59 : delta Scuti stars with TESS (Barcelo Forteza+, 2020)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/161/27">J/AJ/161/27 : O-C values of KIC10975348 with Kepler (Yang+, 2021)</relatedResource><relatedResource>http://tasoc.dk/ : TESS Asteroseismic Science Operations Center home page</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/922/199</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/922/199</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/922/199</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/922/199</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/922/199</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/922/199</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><coverage><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc"/><waveband>Optical</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/ApJ/922/199/table4</name><description>1102 new times of maximum light and O-C values of GSC 4552-1498</description><column><name>E</name><description>[96072/99912] Cyle number (G2)</description><ucd>meta.number;time.period</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType">int</dataType></column><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
