Until recently, the sample of objects with RM data was limited to low-luminosity AGNs (L_opt_&lt;~10^46^erg/s) and low redshifts (z&lt;~0.5). Here we present results from an RM project of some of the most luminous and highest-redshift quasars that have been mapped to date. The study is based on almost 20 years of photometric monitoring of 11 quasars, 6 of which were monitored spectrophotometrically for 13yr. This is the longest RM project carried out so far on this type of AGNs. We successfully measure a time lag between the CIV{lambda}1549 broad emission line and the quasar continuum in three objects, and measure a CIII]{lambda}1909 lag in one quasar. Together with recently published data on CIV RM, the BLR size is found to scale as the square root of the UV luminosity over eight orders of magnitude in AGN luminosity. There is a significant scatter in the relation, part of which may be intrinsic to the AGNs. Although the CIV line is probably less well suited than Balmer lines for determination of the mass of the black hole, virial masses are tentatively computed, and in spite of a large scatter, we find that the mass of the black hole scales as the square root of the UV luminosity.</description><source format="bibcode">2021ApJ...915..129K</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/ApJ/915/129</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/613/682">J/ApJ/613/682 : AGN masses and broad-line region sizes (Peterson+, 2004)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/632/799">J/ApJ/632/799 : NGC4395 light curves (Peterson+, 2005)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/748/49">J/ApJ/748/49 : Optical sp. of 1LAC broad-line blazars (Shaw+, 2012)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/763/L36">J/ApJ/763/L36 : MgII &amp; FeII flux of 3C 454.3 (Leon-Tavares+, 2013)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/806/128">J/ApJ/806/128 : Space telescope RM project.
