Here we present the results of an intensive and homogeneous 6 month long reverberation mapping (RM) monitoring campaign during a low-activity state of the CL-AGN Seyfert galaxy NGC3516. Photometric and spectroscopic monitoring was carried out during 2018-2019 with the Lijiang 2.4m telescope. The sampling is 2d in most nights, and the average sampling is ~3d. The rest-frame time lags of H{alpha} and H{beta} are {tau}_H{alpha}_=7.56_-2.10_^+4.42^ and {tau}_H{beta_}=7.50_-0.77_^+2.05^days, respectively. From an rms H{beta} line dispersion of {sigma}_line_=1713.3+/-46.7km/s and a virial factor of f_{sigma}_=5.5, the central black hole mass of NGC3516 is estimated to be M_BH_=2.4_-0.3_^+0.7^x10^7^M_{sun}_, which is in agreement with previous estimates. The velocity-resolved delays show that the time lags increase toward negative velocity for both H{alpha} and H{beta}. The velocity-resolved RM of H{alpha} is done for the first time. These RM results are consistent with other observations before the spectral-type change, indicating a basically constant broad-line region structure during the CL process. The CL model of changes of accretion rate seems to be favored by long-term H{beta} variability and RM observations of NGC 3516.</description><source format="bibcode">2021ApJ...909...18F</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/ApJ/909/18</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/111/696">J/AJ/111/696 : Rotation curves of Seyfert galaxies with companions (Keel 1996)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/613/682">J/ApJ/613/682 : AGN central masses &amp; broad-line region sizes (Peterson+, 2004)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/383/581">J/MNRAS/383/581 : Broad-line Balmer decrements in blue AGN (Dong+, 2008)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/716/993">J/ApJ/716/993 : LAMP: reverberation mapping of H and He lines (Bentz+, 2010)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/782/45">J/ApJ/782/45 : SEAMBHs.
