Deconvolution of the images reveals that the emission is dominated by the ring, not the ejecta, and is brightest on the west side. Decomposition of the marginally resolved emission also confirms this, and shows that the west side of the ER has been brightening relative to the other portions of the ER. The infrared morphological changes resemble those seen in both the soft X-ray emission and the optical emission. The integrated ER light curves at 3.6 and 4.5{mu}m are more similar to the optical light curves than the soft X-ray light curve, though differences would be expected if dust is responsible for this emission and its destruction is rapid. Future observations with the James Webb Space Telescope will continue to monitor the ER evolution, and will reveal the true spectrum and nature of the material responsible for the broadband emission at 3.6 and 4.5{mu}m. The present observations also serendipitously reveal a nearby variable source, subsequently identified as a Be star, that has gone through a multiyear outburst during the course of these observations.</description><source format="bibcode">2020ApJ...890....2A</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/ApJ/890/2</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/B/sn">B/sn : Asiago Supernova Catalogue (Barbon et al., 1999-)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/II/225">II/225 : Catalog of Infrared Observations, Edition 5 (Gezari+ 1999)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/II/351">II/351 : VISTA Magellanic Survey (VMC) catalog (Cioni+, 2011)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/II/342">II/342 : Hubble Source Catalog (V1 and V2) (Whitmore+, 2016)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/I/345">I/345 : Gaia DR2 (Gaia Collaboration, 2018)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/99/223">J/ApJS/99/223 : IUE UV Observations of SN 1987A (Pun+ 1995)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/152/251">J/ApJS/152/251 : Indo-US library of coude feed stellar spectra (Valdes+, 2004)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/132/2268">J/AJ/132/2268 : SAGE calibration stars (Meixner+, 2006)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/138/1003">J/AJ/138/1003 : IR photometry of massive LMC stars (Bonanos+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/541/L1">J/A+A/541/L1 : SN 1987A images at 350 and 870um (Lakicevic+, 2012)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/541/L2">J/A+A/541/L2 : SN 1987A 3mm image (Lakicevic+, 2012)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/445/2440">J/MNRAS/445/2440 : SN with associated Planck CMB temperatures (Yershov+, 2014)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/151/146">J/AJ/151/146 : IRS spectra with features of silicates (Chen+, 2016)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/153/252">J/AJ/153/252 : Phot. variability of BeSS-KELT stars (Labadie-Bartz+, 2017)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/470/3250">J/MNRAS/470/3250 : SAGE LMC point-sources classification (Jones+, 2017)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/624/A116">J/A+A/624/A116 : Constraints on the progenitor of SN 1987A (Utrobin+, 2019)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/630/A92">J/A+A/630/A92 : The Hubble Catalog of Variables (Bonanos+, 2019)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/890/2</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/890/2</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/890/2</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/890/2</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/890/2</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/890/2</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><coverage><spectral>6.772611666688002e-21 6.185923063528282e-20</spectral><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc"/><waveband>Infrared</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/ApJ/890/2/table1</name><description>SN 1987A flux densities</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
