The identification is arrived at through a follow-up spectroscopic observation of the five CL-AGNs candidates that are extracted from the sample recently released in MacLeod+ (2019, J/ApJ/874/8). The candidates are extracted by the authors from the Sloan Digit Sky Survey Data Release 7, and are spectroscopically confirmed quasars with large amplitude variability. By compiling a sample of 26 previously identified CL-AGNs, we confirm the claim by MacLeod+ that CL-AGNs tend to be biased against a low Eddington ratio, and identify an overlap between the CL-AGNs at their dim state and the so-called intermediate-type AGNs. The overlap implies that there two populations of the intermediate-type AGNs with different origins. One is due to the torus orientation effect, and the other to the intrinsic change of the accretion rate of the central supermassive black holes.</description><source format="bibcode">2019ApJ...887...15W</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/ApJ/887/15</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/III/116">III/116 : Spectrophotometric Standards (Massey+ 1988)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/VI/64">VI/64 : Recombination line intensities for hydrogenic ions (Storey+ 1995)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/V/147">V/147 : The SDSS Photometric Catalogue, Release 12 (Alam+, 2015)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/VII/289">VII/289 : SDSS quasar catalog, sixteenth data release (DR16Q) (Lyke+, 2020)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/417/515">J/A+A/417/515 : I Zw 1 unusual emission line spectrum (Veron-Cetty+, 2004)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/166/128">J/ApJS/166/128 : Narrow line Seyfert 1 galaxies from SDSS-DR3 (Zhou+, 2006)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/194/45">J/ApJS/194/45 : QSO properties from SDSS-DR7 (Shen+, 2011)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/792/30">J/ApJ/792/30 : NEOWISE magnitudes for near-Earth objects (Mainzer+, 2014)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/788/48">J/ApJ/788/48 : X-ray through NIR photometry of NGC 2617 (Shappee+, 2014)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/793/108">J/ApJ/793/108 : SEAMBHs.
