The observations, along with times of minimum light from the literature, are used to derive a very precise ephemeris and the physical properties for the components, with the absolute masses and radii being determined to 0.7% or better. The masses are 1.4153+/-0.0100M_{sun}_ and 1.4023+/-0.0094M_{sun}_ for the primary and secondary, the radii are 1.725+/-0.010R_{sun}_ and 1.692+/-0.012R_{sun}_, and the effective temperatures are 6840+/-150K and 6780+/-110K, respectively. The orbit is circular and the stars are rotating synchronously. The accuracy of the radii and temperatures is supported by the resulting distance estimate of 564+/-30pc, which is in excellent agreement with the value implied by the trigonometric parallax listed in the Gaia/Data Release 2 catalog. Current stellar evolution models from the Modules for Experiments in Stellar Astrophysics (MESA) Isochrones and Stellar Tracks series for a composition of [Fe/H]=-0.04 match the properties of both stars in V506 Oph very well at an age of 1.83Gyr and indicate they are halfway through their core hydrogen-burning phase.</description><source format="bibcode">2019ApJ...876...41T</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/ApJ/876/41</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/II/271">II/271 : TASS Mark IV patches photometric catalog, version 2 (Droege+, 2007)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/I/345">I/345 : Gaia DR2 (Gaia Collaboration, 2018)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/VII/233">VII/233 : The 2MASS Extended sources (IPAC/UMass, 2003-2006)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/469/355">J/ApJ/469/355 : Teff, B-V and BC relation (Flower, 1996)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/124/1144">J/AJ/124/1144 : Orbits of 171 single-lined spectrosc. binaries (Latham, 2002)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/438/1163">J/A+A/438/1163 : Catalogue of Open Cluster Data (COCD) (Kharchenko+, 2005)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/512/A54">J/A+A/512/A54 : Teff and Fbol from Infrared Flux Method (Casagrande+, 2010)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/other/A+ARV/18.67">J/other/A+ARV/18.67 : Accurate masses and radii of normal stars (Torres+, 2010)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/145/111">J/AJ/145/111 : Radial velocities of 5 spectroscopic binaries (Fekel+, 2013)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/147/148">J/AJ/147/148 : Spectroscopy and photometry of AP And (Lacy+, 2014)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/615/A49">J/A+A/615/A49 : TGAS stars membership in open clusters (Cantat-Gaudin+, 2018)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/876/41</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/876/41</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/876/41</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/876/41</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/876/41</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/876/41</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><coverage><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc"/><waveband>Optical</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/ApJ/876/41/table1</name><description>Heliocentric radial velocity measurements of V506 Oph from CfA</description><column><name>Phase</name><description>[0.0139/0.984] Orbital phase (G1)</description><ucd>time.phase</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType">float</dataType></column><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
