Infrared bubbles associated with H II regions have been considered to be good samples for investigating triggered star formation. In this paper we report on the investigation of the dust properties of the infrared bubble N4 around the H II region G11.898+0.747, analyzing its interaction with its surroundings and star formation histories therein, with the aim of determining the possibility of star formation triggered by the expansion of the bubble. Using Herschel PACS and SPIRE images with a wide wavelength coverage, we reveal the dust properties over the entire bubble. Meanwhile, we are able to identify six dust clumps surrounding the bubble, with a mean size of 0.50pc, temperature of about 22K, mean column density of 1.7x10^22^/cm2, mean volume density of about 4.4x10^4^/cm3, and a mean mass of 320M_{sun}_. In addition, from PAH emission seen at 8 {mu}m, free-free emission detected at 20cm, and a probability density function in special regions, we could identify clear signatures of the influence of the HII region on the surroundings. There are hints of star formation, though further investigation is required to demonstrate that N4 is the triggering source.</description><source format="bibcode">2016ApJ...818...95L</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/ApJ/818/95</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/II/328">II/328 : AllWISE Data Release (Cutri+ 2013)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/VI/139">VI/139 : Herschel Observation Log (Herschel Science Centre, 2013)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/VIII/96">VIII/96 : 6-GHz methanol multibeam maser catalogue (Caswell+, 2010-12)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/II/293">II/293 : GLIMPSE Source Catalog (I + II + 3D) (IPAC 2008)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/II/246">II/246 : 2MASS All-Sky Catalog of Point Sources (Cutri+ 2003)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/VIII/58">VIII/58 : A Survey of Radio H II Regions in the Northern Sky (Lockman+ 1989)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/149/64">J/AJ/149/64 : MIPSGAL 24{mu}m point source catalog (Gutermuth+, 2015)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/566/A122">J/A+A/566/A122 : JHK and IRAC photometry of Sh2-90 YSOs (Samal+, 2014)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/209/31">J/ApJS/209/31 : The MYStIX IR-Excess Source catalog (MIRES) (Povich+, 2013)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/208/11">J/ApJS/208/11 : The Red MSX Source Survey: massive protostars (Lumsden+, 2013)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/205/1">J/ApJS/205/1 : CORNISH project.
