Space data seem to indicate a clear trend that, namely, overtone (RRc) stars and modulated fundamental (RRab) RR Lyrae stars ubiquitously show additional modes, while non-Blazhko RRab stars never do. Two Kepler stars (V350Lyr and KIC7021124), however, apparently seemed to break this rule: they were classified as non-Blazhko RRab stars showing additional modes. We processed Kepler pixel photometric data of these stars. We detected a small amplitude (but significant) Blazhko effect for both stars by using the resulting light curves and O-C diagrams. This finding strengthens the apparent connection between the Blazhko effect and the excitation of additional modes. In addition, it yields a potential tool for detecting Blazhko stars through the additional frequency patterns, even if we have only short but accurate time series observations. V350 Lyr shows the smallest amplitude multiperiodic Blazhko effect ever detected.</description><source format="bibcode">2015ApJ...809L..19B</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/ApJ/809/L19</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/B/vsx">B/vsx : AAVSO International Variable Star Index VSX (Watson+, 2006-2014)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/219/25">J/ApJS/219/25 : LCs of RR Lyrae stars in M3 (NGC5272) (Jurcsik+, 2015)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/570/A100">J/A+A/570/A100 : BVRc light curves of 5 CoRoT RR Lyrae stars (Szabo+, 2014)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/562/A90">J/A+A/562/A90 : Times of maximum light of Blazhko RRab stars (Skarka, 2014)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/213/31">J/ApJS/213/31 : Blazhko effect from 4yr of Kepler data (Benko+, 2014)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/211/2">J/ApJS/211/2 : Revised properties of Q1-16 Kepler targets (Huber+, 2014)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/144/24">J/AJ/144/24 : The Kepler-INT survey (Greiss+, 2012)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/529/A89">J/A+A/529/A89 : Kepler satellite variability study (Debosscher+, 2011)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AcA/61/1">J/AcA/61/1 : VI light curves of Galactic Bulge RR Lyrae (Soszynski+, 2011)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/510/A39">J/A+A/510/A39 : CoRoT light curves of V1127 Aql (Chadid+, 2010)</relatedResource><relatedResource>http://archive.stsci.edu/kepler/ : MAST Kepler home page</relatedResource><relatedResource>http://www.konkoly.hu/KIK/data.html : Kepler &amp; K2 RR Lyrae light curves</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/809/L19</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/809/L19</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/809/L19</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/809/L19</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/809/L19</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/809/L19</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><coverage><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc"/><waveband>Optical</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/ApJ/809/L19/table1</name><description>Rectified data file of V350 Lyr</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
