As a transiting super-Earth orbiting a bright star, this planet would make an attractive candidate for additional observations, including studies of its atmospheric properties. We present and analyze follow-up photometric observations of the HD 97658 system acquired with the Microvariability and Oscillations of STars space telescope. Our results show no transit with the depth and ephemeris reported in the announcement paper. For the same ephemeris, we rule out transits for a planet with radius larger than 2.09R_{oplus}_, corresponding to the reported 3{sigma} lower limit. We also report new radial velocity measurements which continue to support the existence of an exoplanet with a period of 9.5 days, and obtain improved orbital parameters.</description><source format="bibcode">2012ApJ...759L..41D</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/ApJ/759/L41</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/552/A119">J/A+A/552/A119 : Planet-star and moon-planet interaction (Saur+, 2013)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/551/L8">J/A+A/551/L8 : Chromospheric activity of field stars (Pace, 2013)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/546/A61">J/A+A/546/A61 : Radial velocities for XHIP catalogue (de Bruijne+, 2012)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/537/A147">J/A+A/537/A147 : Optimizing exoplanet transit searches (Herrero+, 2012)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/PASP/123/412">J/PASP/123/412 : Exoplanet Orbit Database (Wright+, 2011)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/725/875">J/ApJ/725/875 : Chromospheric activity for CPS stars (Isaacson+, 2010)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/524/A10">J/A+A/524/A10 : Radial Velocity standard stars (Crifo+, 2010)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/521/A12">J/A+A/521/A12 : Radial velocities of nearby late-type stars (Maldonado+, 2010)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/520/A79">J/A+A/520/A79 : Nearby FGK stars chromosph. activity (Martinez-Arnaiz+, 2010)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/159/141">J/ApJS/159/141 : Spectroscopic properties of cool stars.
