In two papers of the SONYC series we have obtained follow-up spectroscopy for a large number of candidate very low ma ss (VLM) members of the ~1Myr old cluster rho Ophiuchi. For more details on the survey, see the associated paper (Muzic et al., 2012ApJ...744..134M). Here we publish the two catalogues of photometric candidate members from which the spectroscopic samples were extracted (see Geers et al. 2011ApJ...726...23G and Muzic et al. 2012ApJ...744..134M for more details on these catalogues). We include a table containing all the spectroscopically confirmed VLM members of the cluster observed within the SONYC campaign. We also attach and a table with all the objects that have been rejected as VLM members based on our spectroscopic follow-up. The majority of these latter objects are expected to be background contaminants, although some of them could also be embedded cluster members with spectral types earlier than M.</description><source format="bibcode">2012ApJ...744..134M</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/ApJ/744/134</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/II/289">II/289 : JKH photometry in LDN 1688 (Wilking+, 2008)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/372/173">J/A+A/372/173 : ISOCAM observations of the rho Ophiuchi cloud (Bontemps+, 2001)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/130/1733">J/AJ/130/1733 : Optical spectroscopy of rho Oph stars (Wilking+, 2005)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/452/245">J/A+A/452/245 : Near-IR photometry of PMS stars in rho Oph (Natta+, 2006)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/485/155">J/A+A/485/155 : HK photometry of rho Oph PMS stars (Alves de Oliveira+, 2008)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/515/A75">J/A+A/515/A75 : Low-mass population in rho Oph cloud (Alves de Oliveira+, 2010)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/719/550">J/ApJ/719/550 : Deep NIR imaging of rho Oph cloud core (Marsh+, 2010)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/142/140">J/AJ/142/140 : Optical spectroscopy of rho Oph stars.
